Hi Chris. Sorry good Sir. I have been off line for a while. Hope you are doing well. Shave of today, which is already a day late for you, is with the Astra SP. I left the old stubble a day or two as I was working at home. It gave the best shave ever, nice and close with no irritation whatsoever. It was a Goodfellas savage soap with Prorazo sensitive pre shave, white jar. Blooming marvelous!

Lupo 95 SS vs gamechager 84 jaws : difference?

Great shave Chris I actually got the Lupo .72 and it is fantastic for me. I was looking at .95 but figure I may buy that plate and top cap later. Also traded Mamba 70 tonight since I have the Lupo 72- for a razor I have wanted for awhile The Henson Aluminum . You and Caroline take care!

Now that's a quality trade! The Mamba 70 is way too mild for me, but my Henson is among my top three (I have the medium). I wouldn't have thought the Mamba and the Lupo would be at all comparable - the Lupo 72 is listed at the top of their Medium range - even higher than the GC .84p.

@@CBShaves You want a Mamba 70 head? It's a scratch & dent, but they marked it down because of barely visible machining lines on the bottom of the base plate. I just put a SLOC head on the handle I got with the Mamba - much better! - so find me in Paul's Wetheads and PM me with your mailing info and the head is yours. As for the Henson... you don't know what you're missing! Though it has made a steep climb in price since I bought mine.

Nice shave Chris 👍🏻. I've got a couple of plates on the way for my Karve, plate G in safety bar and plate F in the open comb. I got the daily shavers kit last year (which comes with B, C, D plates) and just fancied trying something at the far end or their range. Looking forward to receiving them and trying them out. @@CBShaves Yeah the D plate is a nice plate I find. Although I sometimes find that I would like something a bit more efficient, hence the purchase of the F, G plates. I've got to say Chris at Karve is definitely a lot faster at shipping than he was a while back. I ordered the plates on the 23 August, and I got the shipping email on the 24. Depending on the time difference, I assume he has shipped them the same day he seen the order. I will let you know how I find the two plates when I've tried them out.

@@CBShaves Great first shave with the G plate. VERY EFFICIENT, but remaining smooth with it. With two passes done, its one of the most efficient razors I own, and I was noticeable closer with two passes, than I am with the Executive Shaving Outlaw (which is advertised as a two pass razor). I could not be happier with the G plate, and I'm looking forward to trying out the open comb F plate that I got at the same time as the G plate.

Another nice shave Chris using my favorite blade. Although I did use a Feather blade in my 6S today. I went with the R3 plate to be safe 😉 My SOTD: Noxzema preshave, Stirling Spice, 6S, followed with alum, witch hazel, Nivea body lotion, and Stirling Spice splash. A smooth, close, nick-free shave to start my day. Have a great rest of the week. Cheers.

Nice shave! I'm visiting family for the next few days so I didn't bring my best gear but my SOTD for the next few days will be: 1953 Gillette Tec with a Personna Lab blade, Nivea shave cream in a metal tube. Nice shave mate i've been waiting for you to try the Lupo.95 it's my favorite razor.(It loves a sharp blade like a Nacet)I can't tell the difference in blade feel than the .72 just a bit more efficient and a wider scope for shaving.(If that's what you call it lol)So glad you liked it bro have a great night take care.

Hello Chris, these soaps are getting more expensive, even at £19 (Is that supposed to be cheap?) can't be justified and this was supposed to be a money saving way to shave! The Razorock rang of Razors are looking more inviting the more I look at them. I'm thinking of getting the SLOC razor, but I want a certain handle for it. Thanks for the vid, all the best... Btw, I swear by the Wilko blue puck ( it's my favourite- no joking) at £2 It simply doesn't get enough air time on KZbinr channels.

Hi Doc apologises for the delay to reply to your comment as I am unwell at the moment. I didn't say that it was cheap, I said that he had lowered the price. The problem with small batch artisans is that they don't get the discount on ingredients as they can not buy in bulk. But in my opinion, this is a reasonable price for a soap of this quality. And on top of that 5% goes to a good cause, being a vet myself I would gladly pay the original price that I had done. The Slock is a great razor. I have never had a bad shave using a RazoRock Razor. There's a reason for there not being any Wilkinson on the tube much !! The vintage stick is a lot better. But at the end of the day, it's your shave you do it your way.
