I didn't know it was set crazy lean (like 3-4 turns!) until after I started it. But a little throttle is usually enough to get it fired.

Do yourself a favor and buy a starter box. Pull start is just such a pain in the ass especially for break-in. I've watched all your Nitro reviews so far and that's the part that's always just so hard to watch :D Seriously it's a life changer

I've got a starter box and it's such a pain to carry around, and having to make sure the LiPos are changed just for one start, and then discharging them after because I don't drive my race buggy that often. With my basher engines they all start in a single pull, I'm biased to pull starts until one drives up a wall never

if I only had 1 race buggy and was at a track, definitely. But I have 7 nitros and take them out bashing, so a starter box wouldn't fly.

@@bingcringing Sheet of metal underneath it, two straps, bam you got yourself a diy pit buddy. Add another sheet on some standoffs, drill some holes and it'll even carry your fuel bottle, glow igniter and screwdrivers. If that's too bulky only add the straps and carry it together with the car. And LiPo care in starterboxes is dead easy, they don't drain much so you never need to charge it to full, only like 3.9-3.95v/cell and even after a whole weekend it'll still be at 3.75-3.8. Not like you need to keep the batteries at their highest performance just for a starter box.

@@RazorRC How often do you take out more than one or two cars? You can totally make one box work with more than one car or with the Ofna box even mark the spots so it'll be easily adjusted to even the outliers like the Losi, will take like 20seconds. Either way if you keep up the nitro reviews it would be worth it even if you didn't take it to your bashing place, just for break-in alone :D. Look for a used Ofna-style box(they sell under a few different names), they're cheap, spares are cheap and they just work, work, work.

Finally my main go to brand gets the recognition it derserves from you 😉 Besides Team Magic. It seems that hobao is a bit more expensive in the US as the hyper vs2 nitro rtr costs about 530 in Europe. But then again you guys have much cheaper traxxas and horizon hobby models.

Converted mine to brushless........nitro sucks, $50 a gallon....local hobby shops talks ppl.out of buying nitro......CONVERT TO BRUSHLESS PEOPLE..... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, grrrrrr ugh, poot😅

Real nitrogang buggy right here. Much better pipe than standard rtr models. Just a shame it comes with the big slow engine rather than a screaming ripper. 21

It's interesting to get a look at the details but it doesn't seem like a great value for money. For the price I don't think I could choose this over an Inferno TKI4 if I wanted a high-end RTR.

I suggest you read up on the type of aluminium used on this Hobao compared to its sub $600 competitors. The Hobao is cheap as you would need the kit Kyosho to compare.
