Stock exhaust manifold, slightly larger turbo now and basically just 3" straight tubing from the turbo to the back of the car. No cats or resonators, just a basic exhaust that keeps me from getting carbon monoxide poisoning while driving lol

from what i understand the rb was based on the L series engines and should have similar dimensions Ive been looking at putting the spare l28 turbo and 4 speed i have laying around in my 65 mustang and it looks like it should fit no problem, of course id need to fabricate some mounts and whatnot but it looks doable. If you want to go that route you can probably find an l28 for cheap at a junk yard and the 82 and 83 280zx engines have flat top pistons instead of the dished crap i have in my 77 280z and the head from my 77 which i believe is casting # n42? will net somewhere around 10.5:1 compression N/A and should make the light little 65 fly down the road, well at least compared to the factory 200ci boat anchor. You could also find another head for your 200 and hack the log off with a grinder and clean it up with some carbide bits and run 6 side draft motorcycle carbs on it with the split dual exhaust headers and throw an isky cam in it these are just the things ive been debating on my 65 lol cheers and good luck with whatever you wind up doing

@@zZWolfyZz I ended up getting an 04 mazda 6 wagon v6 5mt, and the mustang is at my grandfather place now. I just needed something more reliable for everyday use. I could probably convince my grandfather to do the swap with me though lmao

Have you looked at the DPAN facebook page? Lots of people on there with a ton of knowledge. This is a pretty simple swap, they should be able to get you going!

dcalhouna it's a stock rb20 with a slightly larger turbo and an eprom tune.
