I was thinking of selling my car and buying a complete rb20det engine and swapping it into a 300zx rolling body

U maybe better if buying RB25DET. RB20 is great engine, but parts are hard to find, aftermarket isn't as wide, and it's size and weight of RB26. People that RB20 swapped their cars usually wish they won't. If u want a challenge, go for it, but if u want some support for this engine and keep costs fairly low, then go with RB25DET. And 300ZXs are sick, I sat in one (2+0 version) I think it was the cleanest example in UK, and it's a lovely sports car :)

@@slightlyinsaneraf not agree, lots of parts for RB20det on the market, just look at my engine. as to stroke, it can hold more Rpm then any other RB engine and has ticker cilinder walls because of more meat left thanks to the bore

Different times, loads of companies made 2.0 I6s and even V6 BMW, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Lexus /Toyota, probably some more i dont now about or can't remember. Loads of these were turbo or twin turbo as well and made some good power

Why the fuck is the intercooler piping off the j pipe heat wrapped 🤣

Not sure which video you talking about, but heat wrap also protects from heat, so if pipes go to the original intake manifold (top feed) it has to go over turbocharger and it will heat up intercooler piping, and you want to get air as cool as possible especially when it's already went through intercooler. So in short... it's probably to improve intake temps
