idk man I love the brand, vids, etc but this does not sound like an rb26. The s55 will never have the iconic rb26 sound unless it is running a single turbo setup. Even then you still need the right turbo, manifold, exhaust, etc I appreciate the vids but please stop with the titles. Even the last one with the r34. Yes it is an r34 but it does not sound like Brians from 2f2f.

I've done tons of testing with this system on my personal car, the other Valvetronic F80 shown in this video, and can 100% confirm resonated is NOT the way to go. We tested different resonators when designing this setup before the V2 came to market and wasn't nearly as enjoyable of an experience; kills turbo noise and the excitement the rest of setup offers. If you need to do downpipes, catted 200 cell high flow is the best option for more volume while maintaining a deep tone and keeping rasp under control. Remember, downpipes really are only needed for upgraded turbo cars and stockies have zero issues supporting 500-650hp! Hope this helps your decision, promise you won't be disappointed! :)

None of the s55 engines sound good. I love its performance after a crank hub fix but the only s55 imo that sounds good is when it’s single turbo conversion. The equal length sounds a little bit better but for 3-5k for an exhaust with no real performance gain to still sound meh ain’t it chief.

@@kaiichinose9590 have you heard an s55 with stock cats & an equal length mid pipe ? They sound very nice at high rpm’s. Sound is very subjective though. They also sound good with resonated catless downpipes & equal length mid pipe

@ yes my friend has an f80 cs and it sounds okay but once he went catless downpipe (more tuning) potential it still has that tin rasp that I just don’t like. If you plan on keeping stock res then it sounds okay. Just like the m2cs sounds decent stock.

@@kaiichinose9590 i agree, i will likely never do catless downpipes on mine unless i go to aftermarket turbos. On standard pump gas catless only allows you to make a bit more power but ruins the sound. All the best sounding stock turbo f8x have cats imo

about your valves when you close them is that in auto position or fully forced closed I ask because in the f90 m5 (maybe other cars to) when you floor it the valves have to open or the car will go into limp mode i know this because my valves were once set up wrong and they were staying shut and it would mess my car up
