The front designer and battery designer are both also staff at Vanguard since 2012, and phantom's battery tuning, esp quads and bass sounds like it's almost exactly Rennick's tuning scheme, but on pearl, so the resemblance to like phantom 06 - 08 is fairly uncanny! Sounds phenomenal to me :)

Kind of. Jesus Sanchez marched under Rennick in 2011 and 2012. Daniel Sailer was with Rennick 2007-2012 with Phantom, SCV and UNT.
