RCC Bass - 2020

I think this bassline won the game. Most lines are remembered by how good things were by the end, and there are always those people who let every small thing in their finals lot act as an opportunity to discredit them. This line got the pass though. Since the season got cut short, they never had that final almost unreachable standard to be held to, and instead just got "man you know they were going to be unbelievable at finals." They're already so good mid-season that you can just enjoy it for what it is and be less critical. You can trust they would have done it right. And plus now they're not just another among many great basslines, they're THE bassline that got cut short, and were already incredibly good anyway. Only ones who will ever hold that title. Silly thing to care about after the fact, but these 5 should get the respect they would have gotten in person on the content they do have.

I come back to this video a lot. Had the chance to spend the summer with Gilbert and a couple days with Mako, and they are seriously some of the best people in the world of bass drumming. This bass line is seriously something else
