Advice on how to mic up the snares? Going to try to do a recording for my High School and just want some advice.

Depends on the should you’re looking for. I put my mic low to get more of the bottom head sound of the snares.

@@rbass311 pretty much the same set up. Is it right under and you fix it in post, or you have it a good foot away on the ground. I’ve yet to try to record that sound on my mics.
