Seems like a LOT of monsters... have you ever thought about playing 50 cards so you could draw more S/T? Or does it lower the chance of drawing Solemn/Test Tiger/etc. too much?

@@scythermantis test tiger and hedge don’t add to my monster count so really we are looking at 13 normal summons vs 27 s/t which is the ratio I aim for

A draw trap like Legacy or Jar in a deck over 40 cards is actually really bad. It's not a blank card and being a trap it doesn't put you at 40. That logic only works for Upstart which immediately replaces itself. You draw Legacy, gain nothing, and have to pass if you have no other plays. You're better off just cutting it entirely and playing 40.

Was about to say the same thing. You lose a turn because you have to set it.. Especially in a top deck war this would be the last card I want to see

Legacy is just a place holder for secutor and dd warrior lady post side it was better to just increase the deck size post board rather than keep it at 40 while raising the monster count

Maybe take out a shrink since you are running the triple dust against bth and the hedge guard for honest/kalut

@@murray5105 Increasing your deck count with cards that hurt as much as help just to have something to side out game 2 and 3 is really bad logic. You're just hurting your game 1.

It’s a better filler than something that is bad in the given matchup if you’re intentionally trying to increase your deck count. I agree upstart is a better direct option in theory but the ability of yata to bait heavy storms or backrow removal cannot be understated

Try 2 Superpoly in side deck against Hero's decks - would take off Compulse and Pole position.
