RBT, if the defense rank number is invisible that means it’s the same rank as the offense. Hence why when the offense is ranked 1, the defense is invisible also ranked 1. Happy Holidays!

Yah, while entertaining, his videos are edited together to get certain results. His Travis Hunter video, shows him getting drafted in the first round, then later on, when looking at career accolades, says the player was a 3rd round pick.

the defensive rank being invisible is a glitch (or intentional feature?) that's been in Madden for year's. it does that when your defense is ranked at the same spot your Offense is (if you have the 1st ranked Offense, it'll be invisible for 1st ranked Defense)
