Maybe it takes time to decide if they are capable of being an artist and being a trainee in korea under rbw.

Omo~ I just saw Code V at 'I Can See Your Voice' /Davichi's Episode/ And I really thought that the representative (one member from them) was tone-deaf and boy I was wrong. I was shook when they sang to prove themselves, that they were a talent. I never thought they were from RBW, now it makes sense. Yes. Rbw gives it's artists artistic freedom. And moonbyul from MMM also doesn't like to wear revealing clothes and she always wears what she wants. Rbw CEO once said, as long as artists r comfortable in what they r wearing, he doesn't mind much cz it's the artists that r wearing.

This video makes me a little suspicious now about all those people saying RBW was a "small agency". Perhaps not as big as JYP but hardly a backroom operation. RBW, I would like to see an interview with Kim Do Hoon, and maybe Kim Jin Woo, too, asking about Mamamoo. Some questions I would like to know the answers to: 1) Did you know when you signed the four members of Mamamoo that you had a hit group on your hands? Or did it come as much of a surprise to you as it did to everyone else? 2) How important do you think it was that it was these four girls in particular? Do you think it would have been the same if any one of them had been someone else? 3) How did you come to pick these four girls? Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa had all been picked before and then passed over before debuting; Solar had never been picked at all before RBW picked her. What did you see in them that the other agencies missed? 4) Personally, I give you, Kim Do Hoon, a lot of credit for Mamamoo's success in that you write some amazing songs; how much credit do you personally think you should get for their success? Would you say it's 50/50, great songs and great singing, or do you think Mamamoo should get more credit than that? Have you written songs that you thought would be a hit but the group that sang the song didn't have the talent? Alternatively, have you written songs that you thought were mediocre that turned out to be a big hit because of the group that sang the song? 5) With so many groups now under the RBW umbrella, how do you decide which group is going to get which song? Could VRomance have pulled off "Destiny" the same way Mamamoo did? Or do you tailor each song to each group, like having different "flavors"? 6) Do you still write songs for other groups or artists, or are there just too many demands on your time to do that anymore? What's been the biggest hit for you in the last five years that wasn't a Mamamoo song? 7) When are we going to get a world tour? Mamamoo now has significant numbers of fans in the US, Europe, Latin America, and even the Middle East of all places. If you're worried about numbers, you could bring along another girl group to be an opening act. A 2nd generation girl group that has disbanded but all the members are still around would be a good choice.

Technical note and recommendation, RBW: Suggest to Mamamoo (and all your other performers) not to wear all white or all black outfits. Hwasa disappeared in some scenes from the Immortal Songs Medley because she was wearing all black against a dark background; Wheein disappeared in the first part of MAMA 2019 because she was wearing all white against a white background. They didn't have that problem at MAMA 2018 because they were wearing red and never appeared against a red background. If someone insists on wearing all black or all white, try to break up the pattern with a colored belt, highlight stripes, or something else that will make the outfit leap out from a similar colored background.
