Welcome to amirofie RC Life Channel.
My Boom Racing BRX02, Land Rover Series III 109, just completed assembled and painted. Thank you to my friend, Dak Didie for his patience in completing the paint job and assemble the body.
Last weekend, tested the rig on the actual track at Puncak Bestari Hill (PB Hill). I am satisfied with the setup and performance. This rig is best for light trail and little bit hill climbing.

esc & motor - hobbywing fusion pro 2300kv
steering servo - gdw 36kg
This rig is my 4th collection from BRX family from Boom Racing www.boomracingr... and I love it.

@@amirofie how many leafs have you got per each wheel? Did you remove any leafs?

I'm glad you asked. Front (L/R) - use only 1 leaf. Rear (L/R) use 2 leafs. Both front and rear damper without oil (use for height limiter only).

@@amirofie take a look at this- kzbin.info/www/bejne/onOrmo2Cq5aZla8 This is the most impressive suspension travel ever, it’s coil springs with trailing arms - old kyosho very simple designed tru k but far superior to what you as out there in the 80s as far as suspension articulation goes

@@amirofie thanks for sharing. Leaf springs have always been troublesome for scale application. Manufacturers make them to look nice but not fiction. The idea is to use springy soft material. One can always make their own if the right material is found. It seems these are working out just fine with a leaf or 2 removed.

Wow Amir! Dak has done a fantastic job on that! I love all the detail like the correct lights and the UK registration plate. And it rides really well on those leaf springs. It really is hard to tell from the real thing. And of course, great filming from you!👍 Fab!😄
