*Note* - To the viewers who post that the "Tires are Too stiff".. You may be overlooking the fact there is snow on the ground.. and it is 0c degrees outside. There isn't an RC tire on the market that wont solidify in the winter.. Pitbulls, Prolines, RC4WD's, ALL of them get stiff in cold weather. Not to mention these tires are brand new.
@102192668 жыл бұрын
definitely was noticing those stiff tires, you might want to check out some of those new duratrax tires, I hear they work pretty well, and proline just released a bunch of new products recently you might want to check out

Watching your videos has definitely inspired me to get back into RC-ing. I used to have a bunch of toy-grades as a kid, but the only "hobbygrade" I've had was an Xmods Supra from radioshack (to tell you how long ago that was...some 7-8 years or so now). Watching all your vids this past month or so (only recently found you) has definitely reignited that spark in me for sure! Keep up the great work, and hopefully some day soon I'll have my own rig to make videos of

Ok Medic, Thanks for the Video with the first test ride from the Capo Ace👍👍, it's good to see that he's out of the box still has some minor problems with the performance. I think with a few small changes and other tires he will surely get better off the ground. Maybe it also helps to put a little weight into the rims to get more pressure on the ground. Many greetings from Torro´s RC Channel :))

the cable steering is an amazing innovation. really all you would need is a wider bumper. it's going to get stuck anyways there so why not add the extra protection. the trade offs would be worth it in my eyes. such a cool rig

I think it would have been smart of capo to put the steering cable above the linkages where it wouldn't have been in the way of hang ups. Not sure if that's a possibility but I imagine it could be done nonetheless absolutely awesome truck and can't wait for more content. Awesome filming today!

Just keep making this rig look better and better eh medic haha ! even if that wire does break over time it looks extremely simple to fix/replace. so yes it may break but that shouldn't be a concern or a make or break kinda thing for this truck... all of our rigs break be it rough driving or wear and tear..

Watching what your doing I'm thinking that sure that the JConcept 2.2 tires would be a better option. As for the slow crawl vs the high speed this buggy should be able to do doth with a 2 speed trans. It would be nice to see some high speed stuff with some sand and some paddles if you have them. I enjoy the work that you put in to show what is possible and what is new for those that can afford Capo rc's. As for the rest of us we build or buy something that we can modify. It looks fantastic. I just can't wrap my head around the steering. It is different.

awesome video. i think the truck looks great. could maybe use some tweaking or adjusting to make it a little more capable, but in general out of the box, i think its pretty darn good. nice job. i too like to see the innovation and variance. the last thing I like to see in new trucks coming out, is the same old same old. vaterra forced axial to change things up some, and its nice to see others trying to change things in there own ways too. keep up the good work.

Hey Medic ! Im a fan, and I have a suggestion. Something fun to try. I hear you mention a drag brake, and I was wondering if you've ever done the DeWalt mod on your Summit. I used to own a Traxxas Summit, and wanted more power...but because I am low income I couldn't go with the Mamba Monster. I went instead with a 14.4v DeWalt Drill Motor. Modified Slightly. Way way way more torque, meaning you can use higher ratios for more speed. With all the extra torque, I noticed the drag brake was really good also for slow descents while trailing. Something to consider ! I'd love to see what you do with it. You can buy the motor from a DeWalt distribution center for around $50cad. Since recent I've been able to save for another RC, and hope to acquire another used Summit to love and play with like before. Happy Rc'ing ! & Merry Christmas. -Josh.
