I think this new 6x6 is pretty cool for the price, offers a lot of upgradability, as well as a Triple Axle MOA setup. I am eager to get it out on the trails Just to see what it has to offer..
Our Son, Mac appears in this video. Currently he is 12 Weeks old (2.5 months) and is growing like crazy! He is super smart, and is becoming more aware of his surroundings everyday. I figure he kinda stole the show in this video.. and I have to thank him for helping me show the true scale of this big rig!

Man, I got the 8x8 Exceed Mad Torque truck in the same year you did!! I got mine in about July. 6 years later and still running strong!! I've done so many mods to it by now. Full 8 wheel steering with mixing. Fabed up a front winch bracket and put a 100lbs servo winch in the front. Also have esc mixing as well. Turning it into a crawling tow rig BEAST!! Still have all stock hardware though. All the original electronics were trashed a month after I got it. With the size of the dump bed body for the 8x8 I actually did put my nephew in it when he was a bit over a year old and held up great!! I keep watching your vids more and more to better my knowledge on all this. You're amazing!!!

I own the 1/8 Mad Torque and 1/10 nitro Rally Monster, as well as a SCX10 and Rustler. I've not been disappointed at all with either Exceed RC purchase.

I like Exceed's vehicles. I got an exceed drift star and it is fun to use. May need to get a faster servo but other than that it's really good. Really looking into getting the mad torque for my next vehicle.

.....just for the folks that don't know....the reason why the washer always goes under the nut is so the nut isn't fighting against whatever it is turning against and the washer acts as the buffer for that issue. If this is done correctly the proper torque specs will always be achieved. Because you always tighten the nut and never the bolt itself. 😉

I don't want to speculate too much but, could it be possible that project HD Overkill and all of the viewers questions about where they could buy such a beast, had a little influence on the R&D team over at Nitro rcx? Hmm... Anyways, love your videos as always, I check your channel every morning before work with my cup of coffee, and am a WICKED big fan all the way out here on the east coast of cape cod Massachusetts. If you ever want to come on out here, we have endless beaches, sand dunes and breakwaters and such, I guess a little terrain for any rig, also a lobster boat and more free lobster than you could handle. Just throwin it out there, r/c sparks goes east coast!

I say drop in a lipo and an extremely mild brushless system just for efficiency. And those servos probably won't last long, but eh, just throw in a cost effective one and you're ready to go. And I see that you're trying to sway your boy towards the hobby :D

Pretty cool. True, it would be a great starter as long as it holds up. I find going cheaper can deter possible hobbyists because of continually breaking parts.Had allot of fun with the standard Exceed 4x4, back in the day. That thing ate parts regularly though. Hopefully this rig is as tough as it looks. Great to see Medic Jr...Pretty damn cute....LIKED as always

Put a Peterbilt cabover body on it with a log bed. Pick up a second rear suspension system and turn that into a log trl. That thing would make one hell of a lumber truck. A Unimog might be nice.
