It's amazing how far this hobby as come since I got out of it. I still have my old 2wd pimped out .15 Nitro Stampede that I got right before the release of the Tmaxx. I used to have so much fun with that truck it did a solid 45-50mph, but it wasn't real reliable I used to strip drive gears and break the suspension like crazy.

I replaced my 23cc for 26cc and love the power. With choke on after 2-3 pulls it reffs 1time. Thats when i know to turn of the choke. After that 1-2 pulls and it starts. Tuning is everything. I love the beast....

medic, i have a nitrous octane 4x4 t-maxx 2.5, needs a new starter, but it runs like a beast! 55+ mph! i love it, i hope you get a nitro rc, and start doing more of those videos! electric rcs are cool, but if you have a rc with a real engine doing 50 ft air jumps, thats sick!

I think he MAY have been referring to the engine compared to either a brushless setup, or other engines. Personally, I think the engine in this thing is PLENTY powerful. It matches the truck very well for it's handling and whatnot out-of-the box. A new pipe will help a little. I'm no expert either, but doesn't this one put out a little more torque than the stock HPI engine? I'd be happy as-is. Brushless isn't perfect for everything.

I have a baja 5b but wasn't sure if it would be good for the bearings etc to use a pressure washer. It would be loads easier though. Cleaning is the worst with these 1/5th scales haha

Dame that thing needs are tune nice 1/5 scale tho, I have the HPI 5b and it was are little sluggish out of the box, but I replaced the engine 7 months later with are 8.2hp CNC Ported Full Mod 30.5cc TR/OBR 4 bolt Reed Case Engine now it dose 65MPH top end.
