RC ADVENTURES - Intsall a DiESEL Sound Module (SK2) in Bumblebee-ST (Cross RC PG4L Build)

FINALLY my sound module from Cross RC arrived.. and it certainly took some decoding to figure out what the instruction page had to say! Regardless, I was able to tie the sound kit into the lighting "card" that already comes with the unit. I hope that some of you doing this along with me, will find this information helpful! I do run into a few snags a long the way, and I am still waiting for the "proper" speaker to come in the mail.. but its literally on a slow boat from China!
In the meantime I will use a dual speaker setup I have .. and see if this Cross RC Sound Kit grows on me. To be honest, I think Cross RC missed the mark on the sound for a Pickup truck like this.. and I found the sound to be a little disappointing. Is it becuase of the speaker setup? Very possible.. so I will wait and see. If I am still not satisfied at that time, then I will be installing the ESSONE, dual speaker replacement.
The model of truck I am using is a "Cross RC PG4L". I purchased it at "Action Hobby", in Calgary Alberta, Canada.
My paint job was done by Ryan at Bloodshot Airbrushing. He does have a KZbin channel here: / bloodshotchannel

Astrid's Action RC my scx10-2 and Tamiya knight hauler both have insane nests of wires. The scx10-2 has lights, sound, and winch. And the knight hauler has lots of lights and sound kit.

Actually the cross sound kit sounds exactly like the cheapo kit which given the price point is disappointing as I only paid £21 for mine. It came with about 12 different engine sounds some ok and some truly dreadful. But for the price I love it. When you get the proper speaker please do a sound check of the cheapo kit be good for a giggle and help anyone like I was wrestling with the cheap Vs expensive sound kit question
