Medic, I want to get one but I want to know before I take it though water/mud do I need to do anything to help protect the electronics and engine because I already killed two titan12 engines and a xl5 esc in a stampede 4x4 in mud. Also how would you rate the stock performance of the X-maxx?

Just bought myself a new stampede vxl 2wd. using a 4200mah NiMH. im getting an 3300MAH lipo. the lipo battery has 11.1 volt :) And im just gonna upgrade it slowly

when you are rolling you truck off of the jump and it's tumbling to the right then as the wheel tough the ground in the middle of a role turn to the right and gas it a little to eliminate the role...not that you need driving advice but I do see things that work so I'm just passing it on...great video Medik

Aaron, now you have an excuse to swap up to the 18 tooth pinion. I run my X-Maxx with 18 pinion and the stock 54 tooth spur and it seems to be the sweet spot. Seems to even make it wheelie easier than stock, and it gets up to about 42mph on the GPS on flat ground.
