e revo brushless was my first electric rc and I love it, but first thing you have to do is snug down the slipper clutch then back it off 1/4 turn for standing back flips on 6s . back it off 1/2 turn or full turn for longer run times ''aka'' no broken drive train parts ! I got a little board with mine so I'm currently converting mine to look like a summit. love the video, I was like O.O to see it with all that snow inside! that thing went from pretty to pretty dirty in a few seconds .

I just got my new brushless E-Revo today having only ever seen it in KZbin videos. I have to say that videos don't do this truck justice. It's at least twice as insane in person. You definitely have to experience it first hand. And yes, the slipper comes pretty loose by design. Make sure to be patient and follow the break in instructions. You'll need to tighten it a few times throughout your first run.

I got the 1/10 E-Revo Brushed. Had it for about 3yrs all I've done is upgrade all the drive shafts. Last week I bent the back right drive shaft. That's the first real thing what's gone wrong. You'll have fun with it

For snow/wet driving, I put holes in the center of my tires right in a recessed area of the tread using a dremel on a fairly high speed and a bur ball bit. I let the bit more or less melt/burn a hole through the tire with light pressure so it has clean edges. I put about a 1/8" hole at 12 and 6. Then when you get water in your tires, you run it at a relatively high speed on flat ground, centrifugal force flings the water right out for you. Been doing that on all my rigs for years. Probably wouldn't work on a crawler or something slow though.

You finally got an E-REVO it's a beast of a truck, I've had one for two years and I still have it. Only I've got the dual brushless motors on it, honestly doesn't matter to me I still have fun with it. The spare bod I've got for mine is a Proline GMC Topkick plus the stock bod which hasn't broke yet luckily. Enjoy the newest addition to your collection!!!

I've seen the box at my local hobby shop and the steep price.. erevos are in general pretty awesome especially the bl edition. For me tho I'm more interested in the 5t that's relatively close to the front door at the shop. The box IS SO BIG!! they were working on one I'm the back too and I saw it and I got more butterflies looking at it then people do talking to their crush!

Just tighten the clutch you will need to upgrade the a arms the front lowers break very quick if you hit something on the ground i have one and i went to the 17 mm hubs because i kept going through rims because of the torque also program you esc they come from the factory with the punch turned down when you are on a good surface you can see it it is like having two gears because it goes slow then it takes off.

The difference in the e-revo and summit the transmission has extra gears that you can add to your e-revo the different are different so the driver shafts on one side of the summit are shorter I run my summit on 8s and have put the wing and body with the one clip system on it it fit with out modifying any thing plus I get locking diff and two speed transmission! Win win !

I picked up an e revo 1.0 myself! Very modified now haha I’m running a 6s-8s lipo esc by dynamic and an 8s motor 1630kv first time running 6s on it blew the spur gear, second time running it shredded all four tires lol. Now it’s running belted all terrain tires all metal gears spur and pinion and upgraded all the drive shafts to steal and upgraded the bearings. I didn’t gps it but I’m sure it will hit 75mph on 6s and 85+ on 8s it is an insane build but really fun!

I have two of the Mini E-Revo's and love them. I just sold my gas version of the 10th scale Revo recently just due to hassle of gas vs convenience of battery's and wanted to let someone else enjoy it. I want this one now just due to the larger size like my old truck you can handle more/larger terrain. Great unboxing video now I want it. There's video of these doing 100+

if you like working on your RC more than actually driving and enjoying it, the E Revo Brushless is the right truck you are looking for.. me I got tired of dumping money in mine.. replaced it with a Arrma Kraton and haven't looked back. the Kraton is a better quality more durable truck by light years..

It might have been said already but for those thinking the E-Revo is an extension of the Summit you have it backwards. The Summit is all based off of the E-Revo platform. The key differences between the 2 are the locking Diffs in the Summit and the 2 speed trans in the Summit The E-Revo has a 2 speed kit you can install but the gear ratios are different between the 2 as the Revo like Medic states is built for speed. Both are awesome trucks but are made for different drive styles/ I just put a Hobbywing MAX8 Setup in my ERevo and on 6S Lipo its a beast i have some setup issues to fix as at full throttle the front end refuses to stay down.

Go straight to the summit axles, adjust your slipper clutch correctly(do not lock it down), JB weld the rod ends on the shock push rods and you will be good to go.

Just as a hint to let u know what I did. Flip the motor to put some weight in front.... This truck will do standing wheelys. And if u put the xo1 gears in with 6s lipo..... 100+ out of that truck. Hard to control but always fun

I'm sure you have figured it out but just in case not, that noise you heard was just the slipper! Traxxas slippers seem to come very loose. We basically tighten ours almost all the way and there's no noise and they run much better.

The revo came 6 months before the summit, and was delayed to release at the same time. The Summit is based on the Revo and parts for it will show up as revo due to that

Have two of these and of all the drive shafts I've used, I keep going back to stock. I've gone through a lot of front bulkheads. RPM arms are great and have the RPM true track system on one with the larger bearings. it's needed for high speed runs.

We was around 70 f Oct 8th and 10 pm on the 9th it was snowing here in Maine, just got a dusting on the railing and different spots .It was gone a few hours after sunrise on the 10th, I was too slow getting to go out and bash in it but we will be getting plenty more, it's still early yet.

Wow i randomly stumbled across your video after searching about the Traxxas and bodies that can fit it. I’m getting my girls son into RC Cars like my Dad did for me when I was a kid. He lived in Tennessee at the time and maaaaaan we had fun and he spent some money on ours, he had the buggy I had the truck this was 20 years ago so I’m a noob all over again or just a flat out noob. At that time my dad was driving the same truck, may have been a ford but I don’t think so. Whichever one I chose I wanna make sure I can change the body to that truck body when I’m ready. E Revo are really awesome for customizing and speed runs I did had one and put about $600 on it but it was worth it and looked bad ass LOL but yes with RPM parts it last longer and look stronger, and yes Castle system all the way 👍🏼. Nice video by the way

If you tighten the slipper, you will have solved that spur gear problem. When I got my E-Revo, my slipper was way loose, and so is yours.

About time I was waiting for you to get an e revo forever because I have 2 and I absolutely love them they hardly break even when I land wrong or hit something hard with it. The proline body I got for it was a gmc c 4500 and I painted it bright orange and it's sick I also got the trenchers on it and it's mad. I would recommend getting rid of the stock tires or changing them if your going to be running 6s because mine popped right off the rim but I hope you have as much fun as I did with mine.
