I always love seeing you and Everett come together and work on different rigs, or even race some of your own. Of course, the humor made it even better. To answer your question in the comment you posted, I don't get around to fixing or upgrading my Axial Honcho as much as I'd like, but I did finally get around to taking it out for some snow action though. Can't get enough of my rig, and can't wait to see your new Kraken in action when it's finished.

My first rc was a Tyco Fast Traxx... man that thing had speed, got it for Christmas when I was like 8/9... it sucked because we spent Christmas at my aunts house, I was so excited to try it I immediately plugged in the battery to charge.. waited as patiently as I could for 4 hours for the battery to charge, went to go put the battery in and turn the controller on and the damn thing didn't work.. I thought it was broken... come to find out that the fricken plug I was using at my aunts house was no good! 😂😂 I was so pissed, had to wait for another 4 hours after we used a proper plug.. the Fast Traxx was fast though, at least it seemed fast when I was a kid, always ran it with the switch on the back in "high" mode! 👍🏼 thanks for reminding me about that, I could never remember the name of it!

It bothers me that it's getting upgraded so quick. I mean normally we upgrade after using and finding upgrades are required. These are not "necessary upgrades" are they? If so out the box needing to spend out on a new chassis? That's outrageous!!!! 🤔
@behemothfan666ftp47 жыл бұрын
RC Maxx UK I agree personally if I've never experienced it in stock form then I won't add anything to it, that's just one of the most enjoyable things to me about this hobby is seeing and experiencing what I've spent my money on and how it's changed the vehicle for the better or worse.
@TheRealRCSparks7 жыл бұрын
Whoah.. slow 'dem horses down! These parts are provided to us by Kraken as optional upgrades, of course!
@behemothfan666ftp47 жыл бұрын
RCSparks Studio Fair enough, but if that was me I would run it stock for a little while then change them over unless it's needed to prevent any wrongdoings in the future.
@evtek39627 жыл бұрын
behemothfan666 For many people that is a good way to go. But some people want an improved RC right from the start. lighter equals faster:). it's all preference. Cheers.
@RCmaxxUK7 жыл бұрын
I've heard that some of these upgrade parts are being found to be " needed" or required to replace "weak stock parts". Don't get me wrong I'm a potential vekta5 buyer. It's in my top 2 alongside the dragon hammer from fid. both solid axle 1/5 of course. ... the reason I raise the question to you I guess is that as a result of that I'm quite disappointed you are not showing us viewers how it performs stock. As that's what I'd be getting. I won't get given a new upgrade chassis and Ali parts like you have.... and neither will other buyers. We'll be running hard stock and will have to spend out on those upgrades if we find they are needed.

Diy bearing press. Two penny washers. Length of m4 threaded rod. One m4 nut not a locking nut. One m4 locking nut. Or size to your scale. Fit locking nut to threaded rod. slide on one washer. poke through bearing hole. Add the other washer then the screw. The bearings should be sandwiched between the washers and as you crank down on nut youll press the bearings in no bother. even baja read hubs as i found. Such a clever idea but it was shown to me. i didnt think of it.

Neat, Axis-RC now do the Rocket stand adapter for the KV5 now, I have this so no more dropping it on my feet it is an excellent fit, I purchased the FFRC billet alloy servo mounts and as I had cracked the front one although I did not know this until I was stripping the buggy down to add the steering servo saver and IRP servo turnbuckle, so I cut both mounts from the battery box and added the FFRC mounts to the chassis and refitted the servo to the alloy mounts. A few guys have broken the front mount, I may double the steering servos so will get a second set of mounts for this upgrade. I used JS Performance shock and brace upgrade mounts along with his rear upper suspension links with steel hiem joints, mounted to the Full Force RC top axle mount and front centre brace in billet alloy along with Turtle Racing steering drag link. also have swapped out the same Kraken parts as you but also the side vertical plates to their billet items.

Hey guys...i lost my other comment where i asked your opinion about new vs old losi 5t...traveling internet on mobile is hard for me😊 anyways...you channel is my rc channel is cool is clean lots of diferent content and good laughs. i mean i eatch some other vids ocasionaly but yours is my hometown. where i sub and only tath have notificacion to keep me up to date with it. anyway thanks to you and your buddyes ive been absorving info and learn a lot. came from desiring a crawler to now wanting a fifth scale...without you all i would be in a blinde spot. so thanks...keep it up bro..and company😉
@evtek39627 жыл бұрын
Pedro Veia there is not to many differences if you just mean only the losi 5T. most people wouldn't even really notice some of the differences. little improvements is all. This truck is completely different however and extremely cool.
@pedro.veia19777 жыл бұрын
EV TEK yes😊but do they worth the extra € taths the question. i believe so, but from what i can see,the 2 are great machines. just guessing if they improved it must be a reason. i dont know and i like the latest things...starting to like better is body too. tath is the reason why i dont consider the kraken...im stucked with short course type of trucks. i find them mean🙄
