My sons dad had a rc boat he made and we used to go to ponds and such for hours and he would run it around and was always working on it. He painted it bright orange 😂 good memories. If I was in Quartzsite, I'd be hanging out here or head up to the mountains to fly. Most beautiful place to fly is South Dakota over the Missouri river. Enjoy.

I remember having one of those planes with the gas engine that had a line attached to one wing and a handle on the other end. You could cut your finger off starting it turning the prop. Flying in circles with lots of crash landings.

A friend of mine, a retired commercial building contractor, in Tulsa, has a WWII bomber worth over $20K. He built a separate place on his home property to work on his fleet. Probably another $100K spent on his hobby!
