There are companies that sell gauges for setting the toe. I purchased one for less than $10.00 shipped, and it works great. I use it on all of my rigs. Thank you for another awesome video.

Yes , I have a RPM toe gauge I bought on Ebay for like $9.00 :-)
@rcracing50665 жыл бұрын
You can use a camber gauge by using a vertical wall behind or in front of the RC with the camber gauge flat against it.

For best results you should make sure to have the vehicle fully-equipped when setting suspension. The static sag changes as you add weight so camber will change as you compress the shocks with the extra weight.

+MotoErgoSum I mentioned this in the video.....and that I left the body off so the viewers could see easier

Will a 0° toe help with straight line performance? I'm just getting in to the rc drag racing.
@TheRCNetwork2 жыл бұрын
Toe out will help with steering on tight tracks. 0/negative toe will likely help keeping things straight.

Hello. I am a beginner to RC. I currently own a E10. I have a 300mah charger. I currently have a 2000mah NiMH. I will be buying a 5000mah battery. How much time will it take to charge the 5000mah? thanks
@TheRCNetwork6 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I understand the type of charger you have - they're typically not rated in mah. In the grand scheme of things, a 2000mah battery will charge a little less than half the time a 5000mah battery will with the same charger and settings. Why not step up to Lipo? Chargers are hitting an all time low of $50 or so for a decent one and Lipo's in that range (5000mah, 2s 40c) are about $35 or so depending on the brand. Be sure to review the rules of Lipo batteries and they can be very safe and provide a much better driving experience - meaning no fade of power, batteries last longer, lighter, etc

Hey Rich! I'm getting a new rc car and I have a 400 dollar budget currently looking at a Tamiya Xv-01 and a Hpi Wr8 Flux both used but in great condition. I can't decide one what to get I want a rally type of car that I can use both on road and off road. Great Videos Rich like always keep it up!
@TheRCNetwork7 жыл бұрын
The Tamiya, you will get a GREAT body and detailing...The HPI you will get a pretty good driveline that's capable of higher speeds. I would pick the HPI...but be ware of parts issues with HPI. Also look into the Kyosho DRX VE
@karlosleon36897 жыл бұрын
The RCNetwork Thanks for the response! I was debating the hpi since it is a 1/8 and bodies aren't really made for 1/8 rc cars(on road bodies) but thanks for the response! I think i'm going with the wr8 as I am going to be bashing this car a lot. I did take a look at the Kyosho Drx Ve and am also debating on that one.

I have an arrma typhon 6s (buggy). Is it normal for the tires to wobble just a bit?
@TheRCNetwork5 жыл бұрын
So the tire is wobbling? Like the tire is unbalanced? Usually it works its way out....but never let it rest on the tires too long in storage. I remove my tires or set my RCs on stands

I need to camber a scx-24 ... any ideas?
@TheRCNetwork2 жыл бұрын
Not that I've seen. There are "Camber Hubs/links" for the 1/10th scale stuff, I believe for the bomber/yeti, but nothing for the 1/24th stuff. I have seen people use a full front axle for the rear to obtain toe though.

Yes, it should as long as they have adjustable turnbuckles

Team associated ProRally. Likely no longer available though.

Only thing I would add to your awesome video is that dropping the car straight down isn’t the best way to drop it. The car should be dropped with a bit of a forward motion so that the car rolls a bit. This way the tires won’t stick to the surface holding back the true adjustment. It also mimics the cars true motion as it is driven.

Da Poor Yooper yes, I picked this up in December of last year to use for the beginner series. One video a month covering all the topics listed in EP1. I think I would have that issue with almost any RC I picked....
