It seemed like they didn’t have enough torque at the beginning which I thought to very odd. I’ve know some nitros to be torque monsters.

As soon as the clutch gets wet it's over. Also in the mud wheel speed is key to keep floatation assuming they have the right tires.

This is only the 3rd mud bog race. The first event we had a nitro and electric in the finals. Some guys run nitro just for the fun of it.. they like the sound, the smoke. Guys are modifying the electric cars and the nitro guys are still stock. We have a crawler/straight axle class, 1/10 scale pro stock, and pro open.. you can run electric or gas in any class.
