what is best way to take off the trial rotor blade. I think I can use needle nose plieurs to hold it to remove the screw.the screw is stuck.I want to replace the rotor blade with the yellow tip blade .I try to but it didnt work. I will leave it alone.

Yes. Hold the rotor blade and prevent it from spinning while removing the screw. I hope it’s not stripped. 🙏🏽

Thank you for the video, I need to make the same repairs due to the fly away issue and that's another issue I have to address later. I'm having an issue getting the two halves apart on the tail boom. Feels like it's glued but yours just popped off no problem. Maybe I have to man handle it or find a tool to pry open. I just don't want to damage it further.

Sorry to hear about your fly away 😢 I had to remove 2 screws on tail boom closest to the fuselage and 2 screws holding the rudder/horizontal stabilizer onto the tail boom. After that, it separated nicely. Hoping your repair goes well.

@@emem1613 I think its just a natural position. Or maybe the servo was bumped a little . Im sure when you calibrat gyros befor flight the swash will return to level.

The swash should have some forward tilt, may even need more if it still drifts aft. And Mark, your problem is more than likely the flight control board. One of mine started having an issue where it would just stop flying and crash. After doing a few more flights it progressively got worse. I noticed every time she folded however it would initiate an uncommanded left roll then the fail safe in the flight controller would kick in and shut down the motors. I swapped control boards with one of my other known good birds and she flew perfect.

I'm working on replacing the drive gear right now. I crashed and it broke the gear and screw. I had to look at your video to see how the exhaust pipe fits in. I think I was doing it backwards. Where did you get the cap screw or did you reuse the one that was in it. I bought a screw kit but it didn't have a cap screw.

Hi J Wood! Sorry about your crash. Yeah, I initially put in the exhaust piece backwards but fixed it because the 2 halves wouldn’t align correctly. The exhaust piece simply rests in the grooves. Good luck on your repair and hoping your helicopter flies again! 😊, Mark
