Nice history lesson but poor choice of words. The Hawaiian islands were never invaded on December 7th 1941 the islands were attacked. He was not promptly killed, his head was caved in with a rock by a female Hawaiian after her husband was shot 3 times. Very good story, in fact it should be made into a movie.

Wasn't seriously aft CG or it would have been uncontrollable. Not bad really. Nice landing. Some down elevator mixed with flaps is helpful. What (brand) model is this? Nice.

Nice job with a tail heavy aircraft. Sometimes the "recommended" CG is off and that can really increase the pucker factor during the first flight.

Great landing for a tail heavy model. A lot of warbirds are tail heavy and need nose weight. DHC Beavers too.

Looked tail heavy even before he took off....very short nose to scale.....built the tail end too heavy....The real aircraft were built very light weight with no protection....Looked a handful after he took off pitching and ballooning all over the sky. Dropping some flap and slowing it down helped a lot in the landing phase.

If this was truly the maiden flight, it is completely normal to expect a few trim changes, especially in the elevators. Trim inputs are not always associated with aft CG. Sometimes trim is for adjusting to personal flying style.
