Noticed something you've done on all your helis and that is to bundle up your gyro wire with you servo wires, this is something you should avoid, alwas try to separate your gyro wire from your servo wires, this is to eliminate electrical interference that you can get from your servo wires. Tie wrap your servos on one side and your gyro on the other, they will meet at the gyro and reciver (unavoidable) but don't bundle the wires in one big ball of yarn at the back. Time consuming, but worth it.

The "DS" switch on the gyro Changes the direction of the GYRO not the servo on the TX you can change the direction of the SERVO and not the gyro ;) good vid :)

hey thanx, one other thing is the cheap plastic main rotor hub cracked where the pin goes through to hold it to the shaft, can I replace that with a metal 1 or will I then have to replce all the rotor components over to metaal if I do that?

@alishanmao Do that, it's not a big problem and mayby not even a common problem, but if you crash because of an itchy tail, you will be quite upset, I myself don't mind crashing if it's my fault, but if a servo gives up or if I encounter interference I get quite upset, so many small things to think of but if it keeps your birds flying longer without electrical failure but its worth the extra time it takes to wire the cables

According to the kds800 manual I understand you have to put limit to zero when using highspeed digital servo's. What is your experience?

Ali that was a great video I learned something from it. Seriously now i know the difference between a regular gyro and a head lock gyro. I am building my own 450 helicopter so any info is good. I am using Turnigy digital, metal gear servos for the cyclic and another for the tail. thanks man your the best.

Got a wasp v3 helicopter here , having a few problems with it but none of the local model shops have even heard of the helicopter , let alone the problem, basically the tail end keeps spinning round when i try to fly it , looked on the net and saw a few people with similar problems claiming it was the gyro that needed replacing , just wondering if it could be as i dont want to buy a new gyro if it turns out its not that.

Hi Ali, I bought the combo set of Esky Belt CP and intend to change the receiver to Orange RX from hobbyking, KDS 800 gyro and my transmitter futaba T8FG. Setup works with all servo but gyro seems to be cannot connect with red light keeps beeping. Need help. Thanks

i have a hausler 450 with a DZ 720 gyro and i am pretty new to this and i am having problems setting up my gyro when i hover seems that i can keep a heading until i put some more power or slow it down and i cannot keep a heading any more...please help me...thank you....

Great video. I have a question tho. I want to fit a HH gyro to my honeybee cp3 to make flying that little but easier but I've been told it already has a gyro built in to the 6 channel receiver and it won't work. Surely I can bypass somehow the built in gyro and directly wire the HH gyro to the tail rotor? Any ideas on if/how this can be done.

there are tons of servo options. you can go with KST or whichever is available in your area. for Gyro, you can go with H1 GPS controller. unless if you fly hard 3d, then you can go wiht VBAR

I am new to RC Helis and have watched your vids and they are very helpful. I have a v102d02s Heli and am following your practice vids but after a few crashes the heli keeps spinning on take off. I was wondering if could get some advice what do I need to change on the heli to stop it from spinning?? Do I need to change the pitch of the rotar on the chopper?? also where can you get spare parts for walkera in australia??

Hey, Im very new in the RC heli world, I managed to pick up a Storm 430 for $50 and after some tinkering I went through the reciever and re-connected everything due to the fact that it was wired completely wrong. I realized that when the Gyro is plugged in and the rudder is plugged into the gyro the rudder will not work, but if I unplug the gyro and plug the rudder into its place on the reciever the rudder works just fine. Why is this?

@alishanmao Manual says delay to zero. But it also says limit to 0 when using highspeed digital servo's. It's confusing since the whole world uses limit and it's like I'm the only one who noticed this small line in the manual :/

HI Ali, I have a Gyro KDS820, The gyro seems fine on my KDS450 QS but as soon as I throttle up it start jurking quite bad. and even at higher speed the tail seems to lock and just spins out of control. I bought a new tale servo Digital meatl gear as I though it was that. but sure enough tha tdidn't resolve the Problem and it Moves in the Oppisite direction as it used to . Is it the Gyro or not.?? Any commets would be nice.

my storm 460 gyro is messing with my head, with the heli just sitting on the table power on, NOT in the air, just sitting there, the rear rudder moves slowly ALL THE WAY to the right, the chopper is just sitting there, not moving and it does this, when in the air i constantly have to correct the spinning.
