Really great build. Youve done a lot of detail work on that boat! Nice to see components that are removable, a good informative video, as usual! Keep up the awesome work!

Lumber Hooker ships were indigenous to The Great Lakes. Also, considering the Size of the RC Lumber Hooker ship, any RC Lake Freighter you will make will definitely be quite Big.

Love your sound generator. Have you ever thought of adding smoke?

Yes I will have smoke coming soon, but for now I want a simple method with no complicated electronics.

@@RCWorkboatHaven I bought one from a fellow in Australia that works great and only requires a switched source of power.

Great looking model. Now I'm interested in making one for myself. Are there any plans available for this jewel or is this a one-off home built creation? I've subscribed so as not to miss any further posts.

Thanks for your comment. Plans are available for a Great Lakes Lumber Hooker on the internet. I build my different models on the same hull which I mold in fiberglass. To build the superstructure above deck level for the Hooker, Tug and Schooner etc. I look at hundreds of images of old photos and designs and then just DIY'ed the build as cheaply as possible without any official plans.
