Hey thanks for the addy. Been looking to return to slope soaring and I heard the slope I used to go to has been fenced off by LA county. Question, are you still in the city of commerce or Vernon I visited you several years ago to pick up an item I purchased from you for my Duc?

If you flew on Aug 29th 2023 this would be a Tuesday. I was wondering why none of the local flyers were not present. Bluff Cove is only flyable on Sat and Sun and local PD will site you for flying on any other day. It will also be reported and could potentially get us shutdown. We welcome any sloper to fly with us here but please do not fly on any other day but the weekend! I have many flying videos of flying at Bluff Cove, Point Fermin and other Power flying sites listed on KZbin under mohr41 or morrimohr

@@JustGoAndFly This has to be one of the most moronic posts I've ever seen! Didn't say I was the authority but our local group has attended several city counsel meetings to reinstate this site for weekends only. So perhaps you are a short-timer and haven't witnessed the slope closures that have occurred up and down the California coast. As stated in my original post all are welcome - just don't fly on weekdays!

This hobby is dead partially because of fear mongering, submissive rule-lovers like yourself, who, if all the slopes were "shut down" would simply stay at home with their thumb up their butt. Slope Soaring is not a crime and it's not a crime 7 days a week, and any attempt to police such an action is an abuse of power that will not be respected. With your attitude and warped view of the world it won't be long until you once again lose your "privileges" to fly on the weekends, all because Karen at the city council lacks common sense and you people have no backbone.
