RC Stinger 90 Super Test Crash Landing UnCut

Well actually the carbon fiber I installed did its job, it protected my lipo from getting damaged, it's like a lipo roll cage lol, I will be ordering another Stinger to put this power system in, this setup will exceed 200mph, maybe even break the electric jet speed record of 206mph, once I have it I will put my gps in it to find out. It looks like I didn't flare soon enough and the nose wheel hit a ant pile before the mains causing the end result, I'm bad LOL.

Nice plane sorry to see anyone loss one. I know the feeling to well lol. It would have need nice if you slowed the video down. I start and stop it as much as I could, it looks as if the left wing hit the ground first follow by the landing gear which could have hit a small hole in the grass causing it to stop very fast and tip. I don't like flying on grass fields especially with jets harder on take off and landings.Maybe fine for turbine that have a lot more power. Glad my club has a smooth runway, its isn't asphalt forgot what they call the material cost the club $1800 its about 400 feet long thinks its 50 to 60 feet wide. Its a bit tricky coming into land because you can't line up with the runway. Just looks like a fuselage replacement and tail section. It all apart of this hobby.

The material that's used for our runway is called Geotex.

To bad... no airplane would land at cruising speed! Learn to slow down on downwind leg !!! Touchdown is normally 5-10% above stole speed, you probably never did any full stoles....

Man......that sucks. You guys need to have the club go to Home Depot, buy some Portland Cement, and put down a hard surface runway. Flying on grass just takes away from the realism.........just my opinion.

damn.. I guess that will happen from time to time with smaller planes at a grass field. that thing was cooking through the air though, way fast.

I wish I would have given it full throttle, but I was afraid it would rip the retracts off, only if I knew I would have, I only went a little over half throttle in this flight.

I made this flight with the retracts down which is like air brake and I only went 3/4 throttle max, I bet this setup will break the electric jet speed record of 206mph, I will find out as soon as I get my new stinger 90 in and put my gps in it.
