The T-6 Harvard, powered by a single electric engine wand a 5000mAh 4S LiPo battery, is a classic warbird needs a bigger motor.
Flight Review:
In cold conditions we taxi onto the strip, struggling to find the centre. we continue rolling for a smooth takeoff and circling to altitude.
A couple of half loops and rolls. Followed by a falling leaf into a wingtip stall double vertical spin, taking that altitude in seconds. Using the low altitude to the flight's advantage we do an end of strip touch and go. You can hear that transition from tarmac to grass.
The best part about this flight is the low long turn over the water. I've been trying to achieve this path for a few months now. This size of plane and its scale flight characteristics made this happen almost by mistake. As a result of the pilot needing to constantly maintaining airspeed and not trying to over stress the aircraft
The T-6 makes for an awesome flying experience, this is by far my most enjoyable plane in the fleet to date.
Then a more involved emergency descent to a touch down on the strip. This then turns into a taxi to takeoff on rough takeoff which is followed by a long inverted flight towards the sun. Followed by an aileron roll and grass landing.
