That was awesome! I always love the videos. This one is extra cool for me because those were the two I was deciding between. For 3 weeks now I've had the blue Ford. I'm honestly more a Chevy guy but you can't beat the light bar on the Ford ... sooo cool. If they put the light bar on the Chevy I will get a brown one too because it reminds me of the Lee Majors TV show "The Fall Guy" ... in fact if Traxxas is listening make a "Fall guy" Edition ... I would love that!!!

Awesome video!! Great location and excellent filming too.👌💪👍😊 Just out of interest what power system are you using 2 or 3s and what ESC and motor please. Ive been questioning myself about the Traxxas promotional video where the Ford F150 high trail gets air born doing small whoops and jumps and also spins all 4 wheels leaving rooster tails of dirt and dust. And i suspect Traxxas most likely put in a brushless motor using 3 s batteries for their promo video. Ive just last week brought myself a TRX 4 Ford F150 high trail 1/10 metallic brown. Mine doesn't spin the wheels like the promo truck but im only using a 2 s battery. Great work man.

Thank you buddy, I appreciate it very much. This is one of my favorite locations, I'm picking it makes the trucks look scale. There is a big difference between running them on 2s and 3s I run all my trx4 trucks on 3s And yes on 3s you will spin all four wheels, and you will easily get some air with it when you hit a jump. Of course if you ain't stole a brushless system they are even more crazy on 3S Everything on both the trucks are completely stock! Pick yourself up a decent 3s battery and a good balance charger, you will be so impressed with the power and speed from these trucks! Look for a few more videos on them on my channel you will see the unboxings and how they run.

They are both identical the Chevy and the Ford have a 1in longer wheelbase then the original trx4.

I know the Ford has a bit longer wheel base than regular crawlers …13.2” I believe…does the Chevy have a longer wheel base also?

Yes indeed the Chevy is exactly the same platform as the Ford. They are a bit longer than the original Trx4. Which you can definitely notice without crawling 💯💯💯

Any difference in performance/feel between the two bodies effecting the same chassis? By the way, the Defender body in the new black is incredible, tan isn't too bad either!

Yes I noticed that the Ford has a better approach angle, then the Chevy besides that they are identical 💯 Yeah the black defender and the Tan look amazing, I will get my Defender out soon and put it head-to-head against one of the High Trails 😉 Wizard I truly appreciate you watching and commenting thank you very much my friend 🤜💥🤛

I think these HighTrails with the longer wheelbase has a slight performance advantage over the Blazer HighTrail and Sport
