The E-flite P-39 Airacobra 1.2m is an awesome rc warbird plane. This rc plane is beautiful and very scale both in looks and flight characteristics. It only took about 10-20 minutes to build and about the same time to bind it to the transmitter. Once it is in the air and trimmed, it is one of the most versatile warbirds that we own. I live about 100 miles west of you. Grant county Ky. Most of our parks are still open though, playground equipment is off limits and they took the basketball hoops down because people were still congregating and playing. The frisbee golf is still open as are the walking trails and so far is planned to stay that way as long as people keep their social distances. Been watching you for awhile now and love your channel. I'm staying at home and was before the Governor Evers ordered a mandatory stay at home order, but one of my family members who works in medicine can't. She said that all of her colleagues wished people would just stay at home if possible. The worst thing for the economy is hundreds of thousands of deaths, so anything helps. I'm printing out parts for PPE masks on my Prusa I3 MK3s.

Hi. I have been wanting to get into the other end of the hobby, as I have a tinyhawk, and want to get a plane similar to this or maybe this exact one after the corona virus has passed. I cant really afford to be spending $200 on a transmitter, so do you have any budget options under $100 that are worth the money? I have seen some cheap transmitters that are 6 and 8ch that are around $80. Would you recommend the FlySky FS-I6s which is 10ch. This seems a bit too good be true in my eyes and would like a recommendation from someone who has been in the hobby for years to help me get started.

Hello, I’m in the UK. My wife and I are are over 70 so chose to self isolate over two weeks ago. We are lucky that my son and his family live next door and can do our shopping. We live out in the country in Wales, with sheep fields (short grass at this time of year) all around so I can go flying whenever I want to. I’ve been flying for about six months now. Currently having a lot of fun learning how to programme SAFE, using the Safe Model Builder. I love you guys, your videos have inspired me. Keep up the great work and stay well.

Hi guys!, I’m in Australia, trying to cope with the home learning for schools. I recommend if you go into full lockdown to get ur Hbx 1/18 devastator. I have been making crazy indoor courses with it and flying my mini indoor rc fpv drone (even though my parents don’t like it). As well, a good way to enjoy yourself in quarantine is to binge watch all ur vids!

In Montana. We are in lock down. I am essential but my boss has allowed me to work from home using VPN. Started with helis, then to quads and after finding your channel now I have eight ground vehicles and five fixed wing airplanes. Keep up the vids while you can. I can’t stay home since I’m a truck driver, and everyone needs food & supplies. I have RC helis on the truck with me, and some truck stops have fields next to them or large lots. 4s wakes this bird up! This plane comes with me to the field every time. Love doing low slow and fast passes. 4s 2600mah fits perfect in the bay. Put the flaps down and she'll fly inches off the ground locked in slow passes. Such a great plane. Crashed my first one in a mid air and bought another! My area just issued a lock down starting midnight tonight, 30 days of no flying :(

Hello Saylors, my family and I (my wife and 3 girls) live in Washington State. We've been isolating since March 17th when the schools closed. We were isolating as much as a family with kids in school could for a week before the schools closed. I continue to work as an RN at Central Washington Hospital. It's been mentally taxing, the ICU is full and we're rationing the PPE (personal protective equipment.) Thanks for keeping the videos coming, it helps make the world less lonely.

Am a Hospice Nurse in Florida, and they just issued a stay at home order. Since my position is considered essential, i am still working thank The Good Lord. Still enjoy your videos and am just about caught up enough to start RC flying again and will be looking for a good starting aircraft, and will take all the advice you two have to offer. I knew a man who flew the Airacobra in WWII. His first intercept out of New Guinea, a Zero dropped in on his tail and he heard the "click,click,click" of enemy rounds hitting his wing, and he panicked and started firing all of his weapons and the Zero pilot over shot him and flew into his fire and got shot down! The Soviets loved the Airacobra because it was so good in ground attack missions and one of the highest scoring Soviet fighter pilots also flew the Airacobra. Just some history for you.

I'm in a very small town in Illinois, close to Macomb Illinois. There is currently a stay at home order, but my job requires me to be at work! I usually watch your videos while on break while working 3rd shift! Thankfully my family is all safe and healthy! Our flying field has currently been closed to the public, since it is just inside the state park nearby. My wife bought me the P39 for Christmas this year and I have yet to maiden it! Im waiting for the perfect (windless) day to fly it! I recently purchased the WLtoys 959b and have been bashing it up and down the street! I cannot believe how fast the little buggy is right out of the box!!! Best $63 I've spent in a long time. Keep that family happy and healthy and keep the great videos coming!

My FIRST RC flight today. I have the Duet Trainer and the Eachine Mini Mustang P-51D. I found the Duet to be a waste of money if the wind is blowing at ALL. I loved the P-51. It will handle wind very well and made me look like a pro. I went through 5 batteries on each plane. Crashed the P-51 only once and the Duet several times, twice because it was just getting blown away and didn't want to chase it any farther. 5 mph with 10 mph gust is too much for it. I have been using the simulator on the computer a lot and that worked well to prepare me for the real thing. Thanks for all your videos and advise. Stay well.

Tennessee here, neighbors almost. Stuck at home because all of my clients are elderly and I don't want to risk them or me by going to their homes. Waiting on crawler parts so I am doing yard work and working on my rc boats and hovercraft as well. We have a stay at home order here but it is not enforced and too many people are out and about. Whole families turning up at stores and that is definitely not good. Thank you for your continuing advice for people to follow the guidelines and stay safe and for the great videos you do.

First of all thanks for your videos, they seem honest and no BS. I'm in Northern California, San Jose which is about 45miles south of San Francisco. We are mandatory stay at home, which is OK for flying but no hobby shops are open. It's very scary for me because I'm 60 and have lung and kidney disease. I'm staying away from everyone, we have 30 deaths as of today in our county. If everyone would stay home, this will pass faster. Keep up the good reviews and please stay home or flying is OK. Thanks

I live in Maine. My wife and I have been mostly isolated by choice with the exception of having to pick up supplies. I've been fortunate enough to be able to work from home because the company I work for bought our department laptops. Starting today, Maine is on a lockdown. We could get fined or jail time for anything other than going to get necessities. I have a large backyard, and a dirt road that goes through my property (right of way) for others to get to their homes. This makes for a good mixed terrain for me to race my cars and trucks on. I'm honestly still fuzzy on whether we're mandatory or not down here in Tennessee. As someone that works in IT I basically get a pass as essential; I'm one worker that enables dozens of others to stay home in safety. But, it's definitely put the brakes on a lot of work that was lined up prior to this and had me working from home or having completely dead days just waiting for a trouble call a a lot. I've been using the down time to push through various projects that were stacking up on my workbench. I just finished repainting a Horizon Aerotrooper airboat today and I'm about to turn my focus on replacing all the servos in my Maule. If that all gets done and we're still under stay-home orders, I'm going to slap new SMART components into my Conscendo and and give the fuselage some reinforcements. Glad y'all are staying safe up there and still finding time to upload these videos. Really appreciate your content. You're such a down-to-earth couple of folks, your videos make much more realistic previews on how a given plane will perform.

Hi Saylors thanks for the video, I'm in North Idaho, Idaho does have mandatory stay at home. My wife and I are both over 60 and I have always been prone to respiratory infections so I definitely stay home as much as possible. We are both considered essential worker she is now working from home. My job normally involves a lot of travel and I was stuck in Nashville for three weeks when this started. Nashville mayor ordered everyone to stay home which really sucked living out of a hotel and all of the restaurants closed. I'm home now and thankfully management has put a moratorium on travel. They are not allowing any of us to work at home even though all of our work is done remotely. My office is very secure and I do work alone. I don't mind staying home right now but I do miss the kids and grandkids. I'm kinda thankful I don't have to work from home I at least get a little bit of a change of scenery.

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now and didn’t realize your RC family is located in KY! I haven’t been engaged in RC in 25 years and started watching to get caught back up on what had developed in the hobby in that time. I used to race the 1/10 scale stadium trucks back then. The only problem I’m having, watching your videos, is deciding what I want to get back into. So far, short course trucks interest me, but with all these fairly easy to fly planes you review, they’re winning me over as well. To answer your question, we are voluntarily staying at home here in Shelbyville, KY with the occasional trip out to the woods to 4-wheel in our side by side. Not many people in the woods. LOL! In Minnesota working from home. Nearing the end of week 3, company started advising working remote during week 1 then requiring from week 2 onward. Now it's mandatory state-wide, most (non-essential) places are closed. Yet coffee places with drive-thru's are still buzzing... I like working from home because then I can watch TheRcSaylors while working! But, I can't fly. So I'm playing with the little "indoor" quads for now. Mentally, it helps to get outside so sometimes I fly FPV from my porch.

Hello Nate, Abbey, and all followers. Staying home in self quarantine in South NJ, Atlantic City area. Been at home for about 3 weeks. Looking forward to probably 4 more weeks. I got back into RC trucks Jan 1st. And I had to get a second so I have one working to play when the other needs maintenance. Arrma Outcast 6s and Talion 6s. Already put the speed pinion in the Talion. God is it fast and fun. The Outcast is still stock except for wing mount and arms, as they are now RPM solid. The Talion may get Castle upgraded ESC and motor, as they are sitting on the work bench. I have a glitchy throttle on the Outcast that I am trying to sort out. It’s taking longer than I expected from forum recommendations. But thanks for being great ambassadors for what you do.

I'm in NSW Australia still working not on full lockdown yet can only leave the house for essential means ie) medical,grocery ,fuel,work but nothing else and so far every one at my house is ok. Grate vid guys awesome plane can only fly them hear if you have your own property. Cheers!

I'm a former USAF A-10 (21 years) pilot from Rockford, IL living in the Northern IL area. I'm currently flying right seat for McDonalds Corporate on their Falcon. Since we haven't gone anywhere I've been at home.....day 42 so I picked up this hobby. At 48 I'm wondering why I waited so long but I'm learning. I've already with the help of my 11 year old daughter assembled 3 F4U Corsair from Flite Test (2 are hanging) I'm also a Deputy for our local Sheriff's DEPT part time. To date We/I have 1 Mini Apprentice E-Flite 1 Valiant E-Flite 3 F4U Corsair from Flite Test (Master Series) 1 FT Adventure 1 unassembled FT P-38 (Master Series) 1 Opterra E-Flite which is on it way from Horizon Hobby. So we have nothing else to do so getting into a hobby I wanted to do since I was a kid I figure now is a good time as any. Watching your channel and Flite Test channel I've learned a lot. Im still working from a locked office with phone appointments only , i am also considered an essential service here in Australia .Stage 3 lock down so no recreational activities except exercise . My flying field was shut down on the 26th of march , i am flying my Mobula 6 mostly and my fimi x8se when possible . Unfortunately my rc planes are grounded , mentally its tough seeing my family struggle will not being able to leave the house while i go to work every day . I do make sure i go home for lunch every day even if its only for half an hour . Next plan is to build a tiny whoop course in my back yard for some fpv racing . Just wish I had one of those crawlers to explore my yard with . Thanks for another great video guys , stay safe .

South-west Canada near Vancouver BC, New to the hobby of flying and started off with a couple cheap drones (under $100) and an A160 J3 Piper Cub (tip stall issues, first flight a 60 ft. death spiral with very little damage even though the plane hit nose first....filed the prop smooth, popped the wheels back in and up flying again.) and having fun. Getting lots of pointers from all your vids which help the learning process so thank-you both for that. I have MD so I have self isolated every year for over 16 years now due to a compromised immune system during cold and flu seasons so those who think that this Covid issue is tough do try to remember us elderly as we may have helpful hints to ease the time we all now must go through together .....alone is the toughest way believe me and it is a challenge. Covid has taken 26 people in just the apartments in which I live and that was the first wave so I do stress that all take precautions very seriously as there are those of us with no one to turn to except you so please help us out by doing your part and keep your social distance. ........ STAY SAFE and play safe to truly be free !! (You will never get the truth out of any government over this Covid BS (BRILLIANT SHINOLA)....they lie endlessly and they are danged thieves.

SWEET PLANE!! Oklahoma, state-wide shelter in place, except for essential errands, my 3rd wk at home, been doing some ground vehicles!! Yesterday I found in my house (unopened) that OMNIDIRECTIONAL WHEELS!! Tulsa has no food in groceries, NOW there's TO but no food!! Hey guys, I'm in Canada and it's mandatory for us to stay home. As of today, April 2nd, Canada has just over 9700 cases. Regarding RC, love to watch your flying videos. I have an Eflite Pulse 25e and Valiant ready to go. Just waiting for the weather to get nicer. My wife has been working from home for 3 weeks now. We miss seeing our family and friends. We've been going out only for groceries once a week. Stay healthy you two, keep up the great videos.

Been at home Personal choice for the last two weeks, but PA made it an official order for the entire state effective about 2 hours ago (8pm est). Only leaving when we need groceries. I am lucky enough to have a currently empty farm field next to me where I can fly at home.

Hi all, thoroughly enjoying the videos in particular the warbirds. We here in Hobart Tasmania Australia are social isolating , it's not mandatory here but highly recommended! Non essential travel is frowned upon beaches are closed as are national parks and sports venues. We can go out to buy groceries go to medical appointments and exercise but in groups no larger than 2! Stay safe everyone!

Down here in Galveston/Houston Texas and we have a shelter in place orders and when i'm not at work i have been making me a indoor crawler course using my hot glue and crafting Popsicle sticks in my apartment .So the only places i go is to the store if needed for food and to work at the vet clinic i work at so hopping that this will all be done soon .

Been staying at home in waterloo Iowa, but have a man cave, its a wood shop, turned into rc aircraft building!!! Building a sig clipped wing cub 56” was, changing to electric motor. Having fun in the shop. Hobby has kept me sane!!!

i'm in Lake Wylie, SC and staying home as much as possible as I am retired. SC is Essential Services only. I do have a rather large home lot of about 2 acres so I can get outside (no near neighbors either). Keep 'em up.
