I can't be the only one that's waiting for the bezels to do a height adjustment right? Honestly, this dedication to perfection is awe inspiring. I've never run a business or really make anything other than trinkets with my 3d printer but the progress videos are a true testament to the difference in process between making something for yourself and making something that represents you. The Bezels look Great!!! Your headlights and bezels have corrected the only feature of my C5 that was disappointing and unattractive. I always dreaded driving at night because the stock headlights were so ugly. .... Now I'll never drive without my headlights on because they're beautiful. Zora is looking down with a big smile!

I am with ya. I loved my C5Z the day I got it but the headlights just made me feel disappointed. Took me 10yrs of ownership to find a way to fix it but hey...we got them across the world now! We need more C5's with them installed once these bezels are done. Finishing touch that was needed but now many will look beautifully updated! I hope Zora is proud!

For mounting the bezels, could you use the same mounting holes as the headlight cover/lid? I know they'd be a little high up on the bezels, but I think they'd be plenty secure. It would also make installation a little easier, because you can take the cover off, line up the bezels and the place the cover back on. Also, I vote Millennium Yellow for the Rounds coin! Second would be Torch Red since Black and Blue are already taken.

hey love the idea and cant wait to get them for my vette. As a fellow person from Louisiana on the north shore. Please to not go with double sided tape for the solution. within a year anything ive ever put that on to mount on my vehicles is dried out and comes lose. that close to the engine bay i wouldnt trust it to last a summer here.

I'd like to have the rounds & have already pre-ordered. As for mounting, I would like to reuse the OEM mounting holes and screws would be fine. Using 3M tape I think is where things are not great.

I’m totally prepared to adjust my super sleepy tripleds nice my bezels arrive. Think all customers should expect that as now we will all have a good reference to get the fit and finish that matches our cars the best. I have had my front bumper off twice in the past year. There isn’t any way it went back in exactly the same location so I’ll adjust bumper, head light cover and the Stop bracket for my fit and everyone should expect some adjusting for their best fit. I hear this all the time in wide body kits posts that they have to adjust. These are 20+ year old cars So this is expected IMO. But your products make them feel much newer. Unrelated: Any room to bring KnightDrive apparel to Bowling Green?

3:25 i have been using my stock bezels with a new outboard hole drilled in them that attaches the bezel to the screw mount for the headlight cover. Its very secure this way and would be a better method than double sided tape in my opinion.

Can you email me close up pics? Does it cause the bezel to deflect and do you feel the headlight cover is secure? I have looked at it and know that a custom fastener could make it work, but wasn't sure just going for it in that location would work. I'll try it.

@@KnightDriveTV yes, there is a bit of deflection towards the back of the bezel wing but it works for me. I believe the deflection is because I just drilled a screw hole straight through the outboard plastic and didn't give the hole a recessed chamfered pocket like the OEM holes have. If you could recess a hole pocket in the plastic then there shouldn't be any deflection 👍 Will email you pics!

The new versions have a mounting solution. Final bezels will attach with fasteners and no drilling

I would assume that the cars you have in your shop have the lights set to the correct height. If the bezels are made to fit your cars and they don't fit Johnnys car then I'd have to say that Little Johnny has to reset his lights to meet the standards that you envisioned. NOT the other way around! I'd like to see this done for at least the C3s. C2s might be a little hard because of the position of the lights and how they operate, so lets get this done, be successful and move on the C3!

I can understand the goal to be at OEM+ condition, but I'll agree with you both that it needs some small adjustment and they do look just about right. This second (and about final) iteration with the small additions really does look good. The small separations that were previously clay do add that little something to a design that meant to capture everything. You have put the styling touches to something GM used as a functional afterthought. No ine leaves their lights up at a car show because the GM version is ugly and functional. Your design is a visual showpiece. Great job with it.

Appreciate it...just want something that truly has the ability to replace the factory provided system, for as many cars and users as possible. That's good for the business and good for the ownership. These look good on a bone stock car, as much as they look good on a highly modded one. It's the upgrade C5 needed and it removes the appearance of something aftermarket, and really plausibly, looks like something that could be sold on the car, were the C5 a current design. That's my opinion anyway. Even ACA's, in the stock bezel look wildly gaudy and goofy...something that would never pass through an OEM design study. I feel these lights truly enhance the feel and presence of a C5, and make the C5 a real choice for those that initially may have targeted buying a C6. I've actually had messages to this fact, from new buyers saying the headlights made them accept buying a C5 versus pushing to a C6. I just want the finished product to do what I need it to do.

@@KnightDriveTV I think you're on the right track, even as frustrating as it has been. An OEM engineer would be using tolerance stack-up to justify the design and why it would work. A stylist may not care about dimensions and reality. You have to pick the best of both worlds: look good and actually work.

Concerning the coins, i believe i was a founding member and paid the extra amount last August gor the prebuy on the bezels. Are we supposed to have the coins already, or do they come when the bexels get sent out. No worries either way, just curious. Thanks man, they look perfect!

Due to the number of people that withdrew and wanted refunds, I withheld the coins until the prebuy and delivery are complete. This ensures that founding member coins only go to those who waited the process out and stuck through it. I have refunded over 140 preorders, and that wouldve represented over 80 founding member coins sent to people who wanted out, got the coin and didnt follow through on the bezel. Thats not what I'd define as a founding member, so I want to be sure they end up with the right people.

I was wondering if I’m able to return them and get the RGB ones and purchase the bezel to slap right on it. I purchased the headlights right before you dropped the RGB ones and I’m getting the biggest regret possible. If you can help me out with that I’d be more than grateful.
