Howdy! Have you guys noticed how there is a lot of slack in the rotation of the tires in a park stance, the front especially. I know they don’t have a set screw on the 12mm hex. Could that be why or is it more the axles. I just don’t wanna tear apart for no reason. ………

Now I know this video was posted 6months ago, but what are those tyres called? I’m new to the hobby and wanting to get different tyres and / or rims for my c2x and like the look of those ones you have in this video, cheers!

Thanks for this series of videos! One comment, though - if I heard you right, near the end you said you installed Traxxas shocks - but then began talking about an IFS front end - that's from Element RC, not Traxxas - confused minds wanna know, did you upgrade to Traxxas or Element shocks? Did you find the C2X RRD shocks that lacking? I ordered mine right when it came out and have slowly been gathering upgrades but it hasn't touched the trail yet. Most of my upgrades have been cosmetic, although I have picked up different electronics as well as a bumper, diff covers, and wheels/tires. I've subscribed to your channel to see what comes next!

Hello! Keith here, yes we are running the Trx4 shocks on this rig as we had them off our bronco we lifted with Trx4 lift kit from Traxxas. The factory c2x shocks were very poor quality and smaller diameter shock bodies. I found the pistons too large also which didn’t flow well. Sorry about my wandering when talking about the shocks and mentioning the Element RC Rigs shocks. We hear they are the best ones to hit the market on a rtr so far. We haven’t got one for review yet as we buy all our own stuff so we can give unbiased honest opinions on all products we buy to be of a service to our fellow hobbyists, cheers!

@@ProNoobRC I have an Enduro, they are in fact VERY nice shocks indeed - but I'd have trouble saying if their performance is noticeably better than RX-4 shocks (have one of those, too...) I have a spare pair of TRX-4 shocks so I may just order another pair to copy your C2X suspension setup. Appreciate the response! Funny thing is I also ordered Thornbirds when they first came out and they are currently on my C2X, but I may move them to my Enduro as it's getting a JConcepts Creep body. So - hopefully not ending up with TOO close to your C2X in the end... lolz

The thornbirds are so nice! BUT! I think they need some cutting. Lugs are a bit tight when we tested in the snow with them and Usually snow/mud are about the same traction. When I do I’ll post my design and method too. Are you doing the bed/box mod?? It looks so good on there!!

@@ProNoobRC I have some other weird stuff I'm trying with the utility bed it comes with first, can always dump it later - this is my first hardbody. Unlike me, my buddy installed and has been running his Thornbirds since he got them (for a few months now) - on a big ol' TRX-4 Bronco they have been breaking in pretty well. We really don't have snow down here in Central Texas, though.

Oh man Texas is so beautiful! All my hobbies involve nice weather and the super cold winters we get suck. It’s still minus 15 here today and will have snow on trails untill may yet so I can’t get a real test in on them yet but I agree I think they’ll wear nice.
