Very good and thoughtful video Anatoly! I share every word that you express. My radio career started in 1980, when the first Cold War was in place. Despite that, I managed to build friendships as a young teenage Ham, with Soviet hams, that still last today. This despite the fact that Soviet leaders and the leaders of my native Sweden had very different views. This also despite of conflicts and unfortunate wars taking place in all world, as has been the case since humanity was created. Wars are very tragic, but very few countries have a 100% clean track record. Almost all European countries have at some point invaded territories of other countries, or tried to regain power of those areas lost due to wars or other reasons. Nevertheless, we Ham Radio operators should be smarter than the politicians that rules us. It is with great pity I see that some ignorant "hams" since Feb 2022, has created a split and caused disruption of a more than 100 years old tradition of Ham Radio being a apolitical hobby. By harasssing, bullying, boycotting and prohibiting Russian and Belarus hams from the global Ham Radio friendship, such so called "hams" have actively destroyed a friendship that we all have agreed on when we became hams. At least I was taught: Never ever mix or talk about politics or religion among hams... Let Ham Radio be the bridge between the people, that politics very obviously failed to be. Let Ham Radio remain apolitical and request RSGB, CQ, CRC, UBA and latest JARL to realize the mistake of removing Russian and Belarus hams from our worldwide community of friendship! 73 de RM2D (SM6LRR) - also 8Q7MS, JT4RR, 4S7LRG, XV9D

N7MWH Your demeanor and words have changed my mind, I was not making contact with any station from Russia before today simply because the callsigns are issued by Russia. I have seen the light now and did make a contact with you today because of your words and the way in which you are upholding the basic concepts of Amateur Radio. You have helped me along in accepting the ways of our society. Thank you Anatoly! AND 73 again! I hope you long life and continued contacts throughout the world. May we have peace on earth.
