This is the 1984 RCA Selectavision CED Videodisc Entertainment Game Disc. It was an interactive Videodisc created by RCA for use on their SJT400 and SKT400 interactive banded Videodisc players.

Do you by chance know how to inspect or replace a CED stylus? for example, do i need to take the player apart or is there some sort of access door?

Depends on the model player. Search for the videos titled "CED Workshop" and they will tell you how to service the players.
