IMO ... Brutal Mode EX Plus is better than TD edition. Zombie's variants and each plants have unique power (like pumpkin upon death, exploded like cherry bomb) are very cool.

He can do this indefinitely (he won't be baited by you planting behind him by shoveling the plant up to make him travel backwards)

I am now playing this Mod, and it is very hard yet fun. But the Newspaper Zombie has also got an Early Variant now in the new update, the "Sword-Carrying Newspaper Zombie" which has way more health, and moves slower than the Base Newspapers after losing their newspaper. But these Sword-Carrying Newspapers also "unplants my plants" with his sword, after their newspapers are destroyed.
