I've Just installed the rcs330 plus with msfw on my vw jetta mk5, with 8 buttons stering wheel, i'm having an issue, when i turn on the car all buttons work properly, but if i switch to see the gas consumption etc, i cant switch the music anymore by wheel button. Did you face the same problem? And does the rádio appers at the display on dash wheel?

Thanks for your comment, I haven't done anything as yet to the canbus gateway. I was informed that connecting the steering wheel adaptor simulates the canbus upgrade and the car hasnt had battery issues yet. If the battery dies i will look further into this though

For anyone worrying about mk5 battery drain- there’s a simple trick you can do with the fuse box in the engine bay, KZbin it- fuse box to solve battery drain and you will find the answer as I did! 🙏🏻

I have a problem. When I try to pull the radio out (the stock one) it doesn't come out. I Pulled out the 4 T20 Torx that's holding it yet it doesn't come out. If anyone knows a fix to this please help.

@@yyy6119 Yeah, umm For my golf 5 2006 1.9tdi, steering wheel adapter did not prevent battery draining, so i had to plug in additional wire(change gateway) to stop battery draining.

Just order a RCD 360 off ali express thats what i did. Also get the Multi function controller aswell to prevent battery drain.

@@aaron9529 imo the 330 is better. The 360 is a cobbled together version of the 330 and is more prone to faults and not able to be updated. I got the 330 for my car and it's great, not sure on battery drain as I've only had it for a day~
