ULTIMATE Durability! Arrma Kraton 8s M2C 7mm shock shafts and rod ends test!

Out with the Arrma Kraton 8s testing some new M2C Racing prototype 7mm shock shafts along with 7075 shock rod ends! IMO this upgrade along with the M2C driveshafts will be the icing on the cake in upgrades for guys that want to push to the limits! So excited to have these options coming for the 8s line! Also running EXB front bumper, tires and rear links. I also added rear RPM arms and added o rings to the inside if the shock body against the piston for droop control since RPM doesn't have a spot for droop screws. So far everything is working perfect! HUGE thanks again to M2C Racing and all the guys for their hard work and bringing us constant new upgrade designs! Thanks for watching!

Great bash Eric. M2C upgrades have always impressed me. I'm a huge Arrma fan but man all that stuff adds up. To get the K8 to where it needs to be once purchased you'd have more money in it than a lot of people have in their full sized cars 😳

@@Cornelius456 with a beefed up kraton, the xmaxx seems like a 10yo toy to me. wont go as fast, wont travel as far in the air, isnt as athletic, and wont handle as well since the trick to the xmaxx is to just keep it as stock and light as possible. once you upgrade the powertrain, it turns into a neverending money pit.

As always an excellent bash session and pumped to get my hands on some of the m2c parts once released. I was out bashing yesterday and brought my ramps for the first time since lady year... I was talking to a buddy about ideas on how to either modify or build an adapter of some sort so that we could take a pair of ramps and securely mount them(temporarily mount if poss to make hauling them easier but not 100% necessary) . Than I suddenly realized you have been using the stacked ramps for a long time and still seem to be getting used... anyway you might be sale to give me any tips or info on how you tend to stack your ramps please ? I've got 3 pair of kickers that are all very close in dimensions. One pair is discounted ramps old composite kickers that they no longer seem to sell and the other 2 pair are almost identical to the Disc ramps but smaller in width by maybe 2-3 inches total when comparing one pair to the other pair with them both 2 ramps wide. As always apor you and all the insane content. Hope all is well and hoping maybe you can find time to offer some insight (unfortunately no pickup truck so that a main concern asidevfrom total weight if they need to be mounted somewhat permanently) thanks brother 🍻

What is your opinion of the rpm arms? Some say not to do the upgrade bc of bending drive shafts. I have the M2C driveshafts and just curious if you found additional flexing of the driveshafts bc of the more flexible plastic

They are more durable for sure but also flex more. I don't like that they don't have a place for droop screws so it's full shock action which puts a lot of strain on the shocks. You can add limiters inside the shocks to compensate if you decide to run them.😎👊

I have a beefcake k8s and running 1 to 1 using 39 tooth. What do you prefer when using 1 to 1 the 34 tooth or the 39 setup? Keep up the AWESOME vids

I've never tried a 39/39 setup so I honestly can't say. That is a larger gearing profile so may run hotter. 34/34 is about perfect imo.

They don't sell just the shock rod ends as they work together with the upgraded M2C shafts. You could also go stock EXB shocks. Those rod ends hold up much better!

For all these upgrades probably $500ish depending on what all you get. Arrma also has the EXB roller version that is upgraded out of the box for a bit lesser cost all together but not as strong as the M2C upgrades. All up to how hard you bash!
