If you adjust the front toe-in it will help with the straight line stability. In the video I saw factory toe-out. Which is normal, but for high speed straight line stability you want the wheels straight, or ever-so-slightly toed in.

I have one to I think it looks awesome… Figure out how to cool the motor… Get rid of the tires… You can't even set anymore toe in as the rods are already all the way… My steering resolution is awful. I think they made the car look really good but they forgot that we have to drive these things… I'm looking for new tires I figured out how to keep my motor cool because I had larger heatsinks. The two side scoops on the plastic body get some air in by cutting them open… That's what I did. This car is confusing you get what you pay for in the end

X07 and x08 are not bashers. Don't jump anything with them the cheap molded plastic will break, the drivetrains will bend, the diffs will strip, the tires will come unglued. The auto break function on the esc can't be turned off either. It just slams on the brakes every time you let go of the throttle. Nose dives every time you jump anything. They're not worth 200 dollars.

@@grand372 I'm not really sure. There are really good r.c. in all price range. The more reliable ones are few and far between. If you're just starting out Or want a tank of a basher the team associated mt10 v2 is a good start. Traxxas, armma, and other high end brands you have to choose wisely because they're are some that are part hogs and some that aren't and they're expensive. Hbx, mjx hyper go, and other 200 dollar range are really good options for cheap bashers. Just check parts avalibility before you buy anything.

I have one and it's made wonky…? It has adjustable steering rod for tow in but it's unusable… It's fake you can set toe out… But it comes all the way tight you cannot add any more toe in… Servo centering is terrible… Smooth servo movement in the center point forget it… Tires on pavement go all over the place. The car looks good but there's not any thought into making it a good handling car it's just looks it looks fantastic but that's all it is. Oh the motor overheats you're going to smoke it… I love looking at the car but the Chinese simply built this car for looks

Yeah, mine has a hard time keeping a straight line as you see in the video. All else is good though but the steering. I tried to adjust the alignment but I think you are right about the steering servo being one of the issues.

honest update from a user of this car… It's worse than garbage not worth buying at all at any price. Yes of course it will not go straight this things is over the place… It has tapered Phillips screws going into plastic holes and if you ever tighten them it will just split the plastic apart… Who does that? it's toy grade in every single way. Lucky for me I got my money back. If I would've been stuck with it been very ugly terrible and disgusting. I got tricked sorry don't buy it

Has my x08 for 15 days and the rear differential stripped out. Do not buy these cars they are not budget friendly they're junk. Pot metal drive train and gears. Customer service is crap, they offer to send you the same crap parts to replace the crap parts. Mind you I didn't bash mine or jump it over anything just drove it in the yard and on the street in front of my house. It is not sand proof, water proof, gravel proof, dust proof, the diffs weren't greased, the battery life is only 15 minutes at best, the box tells you not to run it full speed at any time!! Not at first to learn to drive it, at any time! It has auto brake which means if you do jump it you nose dive every time if you don't keep on the throttle, reverse is lagged really bad. It's crap opon crap opon crap and a serious money pit car. Save a little more and get a traxxas or an armma. Also they do not want to give me a refund they want to offer 20% of the original cost and for me to just keep the damn thing. It's crap.

yeah mine was the same even the screws holding it together would kill the car they put tapered screw heads in the plastic so if you tighten them it would just split the plastic, who does that? Unlike you I was lucky and got my money back full refund… I am buying a Traxxas rustler vxl 4x4 top-of-the-line now I'm sure positive I will be happy finally… I read your words and good luck to you. 20% and keeping the junk car isn't really worth it keep fighting and try to get the best deal

@@jeffrenman4146 good deal man, at least someone has a good experience getting their cash back for these pieces of garbage. They said that they would give me the parts I need for free so I made a parts list that is lengthy let's see if they even honor that. Maybe with a new screw set and some one on one UFC style fighting with this car I can at least drive it around because hell that's all I wanted was to enjoy r.c. time after work. Customer service with hosim are a bunch of turd burglars.
