I just want to know why you comparing a RCF 15 sub to a QSC 18 you are not going to get the same comparison it should have been 18 to 18 or 15 to 15 just saying!

Just bought my second RCF SUB 705-AS II. I love the size weight and output indoors. Even with two of these a 15 just can't compete with an 18 outdoors. I had really good output 10-15 feet away but 20 plus feet away the lows almost disappeared. This was on a really strong 120v breakout connected to city power.

The Qsc are loud doof boxes. RCFs are closer to a hifi system... If you want a proper comparison put the QSC against the RCF 8004 (18 inch and 136Db alot closer to the kw181) and the RCF will beat the qsc in every aspect very easily.

I own the older RCF 705as. They're high-passed @40hz.. so you'll never be able to hear real lows below this frequency. Don't know if this is the same with the 705 AS-II?? The KW181s are not high- passed so it's easy to explain why they rumble all the way to 30hz. a more fair comparison would be with the RCF905as MKII, this sub is equiped switchable 30-40 high pass filter.

RCF is good but they dont throw whwn outdoor. inside theybare the best outside inwould go QSC all the way. just depends on you usage

Between the 705 and 905 would you say 905’s are worth getting and paying that extra 700 more for more power output? Thus giving more coverage distance? Or are they the same in coverage but just different more power?

I have the 905 AS-II. I haven't compared it with the 705, but this thing can pound. It must be one of the best 15 inch subs out there. More importantly it has selectable DSP presets which can help you to dial in your sound and sqeeze more out of it.

Just finished watching the "other review"... now this "review". Hope u guys are better DJ's than "youtube channel reviewers" or whatever. Here is a ruler. Now here is a yardstick. Yardstick is longer. It wins. Pull out a decibel meter or maybe just Run different frequencies through both sets of subs and "review" their efficiency on each frequency. Rarely review videos... but when its that bad, i can't stay silent. "No that was like 30hz. That was that song"😂😂😂😂😂 😵fail.

man, subs bring out the best in people. my question is maybe the 18" qsc would be suited to a larger room/out door gig with a good throw. rcf for small room pub subs etc, would be better. two very different scenarios.

Guys.. I have 2 Peavey PvxP Powered subs. How would you compare the RCF's to other 15 inch subs. I am impressed that they are able to keep up with those QSC 18s.

Please do another test with the qsc subs stacked one on top of the other as they are designed to couple vertically and not horizontally , you can see this but the location of their ports .

Boisey qsc speaker drivers are made in china. Rcf are high quality drivers that are made in italy.

With the 705a's yes. In fact the 708a's and 705 subs would make a nice small system if you weren't looking at high outputs or impactful bass

hola como estas yo tambien tengo esos subs 705 as pero me puedes apoyar ya que clipean seguido , tengo de medios agudos un par de mackie de 15 pulgadas thump mackie thump de 400 wtts y los rcf son de 700wtts pero los pongo ala mitad de volumen y clipean , el mixer que manejo es un pioneer 600 y no llego ni al primer led amarillo , aque se debe , ? lo tengo a 120hz

The 745's would eat them alive. You would need atleast 8 of those subs to keep up with one of those tops if you were going bass heavy (11db more)

For me i like the qsc, it wil throw farther and not heavy inyour chest BUT it all depends on how good your sound engineer is. I'm talking about the whole products of qsc not just only subs.
