@@djcorona319 have you ever had the nxl24’s clip on you? Reason why I ask is because someone in my area is selling a pair for cheap. Wondering if my dual 18’s can handle them

@@Djluxuryinla I’ve never had them clip. I run them with the high pass filter and let the Bass Boss subs carry all the low end. I was told the first generation of the NXL 24’s and 44’s do NOT have this DSP button on them so they are more prone to clipping. I have a friend who has the NXL 44’s and his do clip from time time to time. His 44’s are the first generation not the MK2’s. He was surprised to see the DSP buttons/feature on mine so that’s how I know about it.

I was wondering about getting the nxl 24's. My current set-up is the art932's and the ssp 118's mk2's.....how is the nxl 24's with the amout of throw....how many people can you cover?

@@kutzaudiolive979 I’ve done events with 500 people and it performed great. It can probably do more, depending on the area. This system gets loud so is good for most events like weddings, proms, outdoor activities, etc. It’s definitely a powerful system and sounds amazing! 💯! Here is a video that shows how far it throws! Are you planning on the dv12 m3?

No. I had the dv12 mk3 and sold them. It was way too heavy for me. You need at least 2 people to put it on a tripod or subpole. They are really good speakers and are great without a sub but way too heavy for me since I sometimes do events by myself. I already had the RCF HDM 45 so keeping those to use when I don’t need a sub. They are light speakers and sound amazing! I really love the line array look so I bought the RCF 24a mk2. They are a lot lighter and more manageable for me. They also compliment the Bass Boss SSP118 mk3 very well.

@@djcorona319 awesome set up! I’ve been running EV ETX 15p over ETX 18sp for some time now and want to step up to the next level in quality sound. I’ve been considering the same combo you have here, or the DV12 mk3, or the NXL44a mk2. If weight was not an issue how would you compare the sound differences between the NXL24 vs dv12 when paired with the 118?

@@VSEDJ If weight wasn’t an issue, I would highly recommend pairing the Bassboss subs SSP118 with the DV12 MK3’s. Hands down , they have the most low end than any other 2 way speakers on the market. Why is this good? Because for smaller events, you really don’t need to bring subs so you can utilize them for both smaller events (without subs) and larger events with subs). With the NXL 24’s, you always need to bring subs. The DV12 MK3’s also have a big horn and excellent highs and mids when paired with the subs. They are meant to work together and have presets on the back so you can get high quality sound out of the box without having to do a lot of eq’ing, or need additional external mixers, processors, etc.
