Hey, I'd like to learn a bit more about these conferences. I'd assume that u get paid 10% of the rental cost of equipment, right? Or less I'm new and want to get into this business tbh

@davidorlov, every piece of equipment has it's own price which is not necessarily dictated by its exact percentage. For example, a SUB8004 costs about $5,000 but we don't charge $500 for a cross rental , we charge about $150. But then you take into account the number of days it's rented for. So for a week long conference, we may charge 2.5 times that cost. Then, you could have a DPA podium microphone worth about $1250 that we can charge $200/day for. All these prices are determined by industry standards as well as supply and demand.
