The Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children (RCSAD) offers various classes to help kids with special needs. These classes include swimming, physical therapy, massage, sensory activities, the Montessori method, music, sand therapy, and storytelling. About 80 boys and girls of different ages attend these classes.
In the swimming pool, kept at a warm 34 degrees, two skilled trainers work with the children. The Sand Room is filled with fun and noise as children play with sand, improving their fine motor skills. The Music Hall echoes with cheerful children's songs during classes. In the sensory room, specially designed games help develop speech and motor skills. Physical therapy and massage sessions take place in the exercise therapy room, led by experienced specialists like volunteer Akira Akamine from Japan.
Parents are encouraged to attend these classes, learning skills to help their children at home.
