Thank you for your kind comment. There were two crashes which I will not show on YT. The others had an emergency landing after the engine stopped. No damages on the planes exept the propellers.

How did I miss this for so long? Great lot of planes Horst! You guys do have some great meets! My heart was in my mouth when that Mark VIII Spitfire lifted off after landing - I guess the pilot had the stick back because of the long grass - he did well to save it!

Another fantastic video to watch, especially with over 6 inches of blowing snow awaiting my attention (and snowblower). I especially like your ability to anticipate where the planes are going and keeping the camera either centered or leading the planes. On January 1, my club sponsors a Penguin fun fly each year and a hand full of us go out and fly in the snow. I have two airplanes with snow skis ready and plan to post the video of the guys flying in Iowa soon after the event.

Thanks Ray for your reply. What you're talking about is a onboard cam such as a GoPro or others. This is not FPV. The problem to fit a camera on such a scaled warbird is always the same. 1. it's not mine :) 2. very difficult to fit it without damaging the model 3. very high vibrations of gas powered models If I will find some one who like to have a GoPro on his plane. No problem. I have the suitable equipment.

It seems that this was a warbird meeting of allied fighters ... or the Luftwaffe flew on another air show this weekend. :) There were two crashes ... one Bearcat had a failure of the elevator and rudder and was heavily damaged. Due to a pilot error, the other Bearcat crashed into the trees and was completely destroyed. :( You're always welcome !!!

OMG ... Sorry Sam, for my late reply. Some how I missed your comment. This meeting was a season opener of warbird friends. Free Flying for everyone. That's how you can spend a weekend together at its best. The pilot of the Spitfire was confused by a paper bag, which was blown onto the runway. Yes, he did a great job to save his beautiful model. Had a .60 size P-51D and then got a 1/4 scale with a Saito 2cc 2 cycle. Sold it over 15 years ago. After seeing these birds, gonna have to have another P-51. Great flying by the way. Wonderful aircraft.
