I was one of the people actually looking forward to Evergreen Gardens. Back when RCT was first released Evergreen Gardens was the first park I got stuck on. 12 year old me spend almost a week trying to beat the scenario. I had no clue how to properly build coasters and manage the park. Good times :)

I love this series you’re doing. I always figured Grapevine was named that because the piece of highway in Santa Clarita, where I grew up just north of Los Angeles (that happens to be right where six flags magic mountain is) is called the Grapevine, and this ride is next to a highway. Also, total missed opportunity to call it the De-FIG-relator! I really love what you did with the highway. Totally outstanding.

@@Deurklink That's right! I grew up there. I always imagined the coasters you could see from the highway stretching overhead when I was a kid. I wonder if that is part of what inspired this scenario and Grapevine.

I like Funtopia because it's the first park to have the Hyper Twister... and it also has the highway without having to unlock Dinky/Pokey Park. Then you can quickly research the large loops and boosted lift hill (before RCT2 got rid of Ride Improvements)
@JDsenrandir2 жыл бұрын
I love this. Every ride has its own little geeky twist to it. My favorites are the big coaster with it's phenomenal design, the cucumber river rapids and the carrot cars with their geeky trickery. And I very much appreciate your effort with uplifting the highway and making it alive!

I also have fond memories of Funtopia. I think because you had that opportunity of two lots over a highway, it made it feel a bit more special because, at least for my childhood imagination, you could imagine/visualise cars going along the road while all this fantastical stuff at the park is happening. Sure seems inconvenient that the road goes nowhere near the park entrance path... :p
