very impressed with this lesson, what I like most in this lesson is that you take it VERY slowly and you are explaining every single step again very slowly so we have a time to actually follow both you when you are speaking as well as moving controls ... I have seen many FPV lessons out there where FPV pilots tends to go so fast trough the lessons and it is kinda difficult to follow on and one need to stop the video and watch it again and it is kinda annoying because we needs to be able to follow the controls as well as the FPV pilot talking... I think you will understand my point ;) so again very nice man and keep it going this way! looking forward for more videos.. :)

This is the hero we need. THANK YOU. Also, it wouldn't be a KZbin comment section if no one corrected you... Turning in a vehicle increases speed up to a certain angle due to centrifical forces as a result of the grip of the tires resisting the momentum of the vehicle.

Adam - my name is Richard Litt. My previous rc experience is 30-size fuel rc Helicopter - I flew many years - my flying background was mostly level, no 3D. I sold my helicopter to get into 5" 4s lipo battery drone. I am using Liftoff simulator to learn how to fly my drone. I plan on flying LOS (similiar to my RC Helicopter flying) so i modified my drone (Nazgul5v2) and removed the antenna and replaced it with a 50ohm load. The lessons on-line are very helpful (RCwithAdam). I appreciate the Rate descriptions. I have some comments regarding beginner pilot drone control: 1. I started to fly in Acro mode 2. At the end of Lesson 2 you commented on being in Acro mode require corrections - i detected right or left drift as soon as i gave throttle. I have to correct this drift. 3. Most of Lesson 2 is in Level mode which does not require to correct drift corrections. 4. What is your opinion on staying in Level mode or Horizon Mode until i can switch to Acro Mode? I do not know how long that will take. I will not give in - fun hobby - I am a retired Aerospace Electronics engineer so i can deal with learing how to fly a drone. I can be reached at richardlitt6@gmail.com. Thanks

You nailed it mate. I wish lift off’s tutorials were as detailed and descriptive as this. Best beginner video on how to fly fpv drones in my opinion. You saved me from the frustration of trying to figure things out in lift off and the thought of quitting learning fpv drones. 👍

One of the best tutorials for beginners. Got my first full 30 secs in hover in ACRO after few days of doing that in LEVEL. Nice tutorials!!!!

Hey there mate, do all of the things you explain in this series about learning FPV applicable to DJI FPV as well? I'm completely new to FPV and recently bought the DJI FPV, though I can't seem to find tutorials and explanations as yours about DJI FPV anywhere. Btw, great video man! Thanks for all this help.

Great video! Maybe you can also make a video about what rates are and how they affect flight characaristics :)

Great video. I've been using FPV Air 2 (more race courses oriented) and FPV Freerider (more freestyle oriented). Both are around $5 on Steam and work well on lower powered laptops and PCs, though not as nicely polished as the $20 options out there. Concepts obviously carry over, so just putting that out there for the noobs on a budget like me.

How do you get to pause menu to access flight controller settings?

I have hard time understanding this: which function goes on self-centering stick? Is it throttle? is it pitch? which is most intuitive and easy to learn? My controller has right stick self-centering and currently it controls pitch/roll. I kinda see it differently here and wonder what's the most common/intuitive way to set up the sticks. I come from DJI world so I've always had right stick pitch/roll and left stick - throttle/yaw. Please help me understand.

I have lift off I had I'm working with the radio Master TX 16S how to configureate that properly for lift off because the last guy I did I got to give it a whole lot of throttle just to get the FPV off the ground is not doing like your video

I'm new to all of this ... the controller i use with liftoff has a throttle that returns to center ... is this bad and do i need something different to learn acro mode correctly?
@RCwithAdam12 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes, that is bad for acro. which transmitter do you have? You can probably remove the throttle spring fairly easily.
@rossb90532 жыл бұрын
@@RCwithAdam1 ah man, just got it because my dji doesnt work with liftoff. It is a flysky i6s

Should have watched this before flying my new drone. It flew away and was lost. That will probably be my first and last drone experiment.
