Hello, I got a 6018W, the output 25A fuse is dead, in this case, is the socket right near him supposed to be populated with a spare 25A ? Could you supply an aliexpress seller for those 1808 fuses ? Thanks.

hello, there is a backup fuse in the RD6018 box, please use it, and you need to replace the dead fuse, the socket next to it is for test, it supports 10A max, if you need more, just find 1808 25A fast blow fuse and it is ok

How did you know that the main output fuse had blown? I presume the display still comes on and there is no output? Where there any other symptoms? How did you confirm the main fuse was blown? Did you check with an ohm meter across the blown fuse? Did this show open circuit with the blown fuse insitu?

@@ocular57 hello, normally the fuse is burned due to the wrong connection to battery with red balck terminal, if you did it and the device does not work you can use multimeter to test the fuse

Hi, thanks for the video. I had an accident some how. I can turn my power supply on but when I press on/off to deliver power, the screen stays on, then it starts power output, then it cuts out. Could it be the relay? I ruined the switch mode power supply too. I have tested it with a variac, and it works ( has power output) until about 30v or something then the relay clicks and it cuts out. Thanks.

you can see the relay surface, it is melted, maybe not clear in the video, it is caused by the soldering iron

Question, My RD6018 screen shows the voltage i input but when i power on (use voltage) read display is different from voltage input by a lot. If i put in 48v it supplies on 45v. It will power on something for a sec then it cuts off ... and power supply voltage display starts decreasing in voltage. Any ideas why? Trying to find a solution. Thanks

hello, if the microcontroller is dead, it cannot be repaired just by replacing a new one, in our factory, this chip need to be written in program and calibrated first, and then put on the power board, the device needs a second calibration, so that if your device is damaged in this way, normally it cannot be repaired

Hi there. Thank you for your reply. Im electroncs repair and i check on board and all componente is working. I replace MCU with another one new and I load bootloader and firmware from RD6012 and now Power up all butonns beep when I pressing but no display. If press ENTER display go on and show bootloader version and firmware version and I can update on USB port. Ok if you can programing new processor I pay for it if you send me. Thank you.
