The hiring will be mainly across technical profiles for its shared support centre launched in Bengaluru, the report says. The new centre will offer a wide range of remote infrastructure managed services on servers, operating systems, network, and security operations, among others, the report adds. The strategic investment of the company in its new hub aims to boost exponential growth that will offer cutting-edge solutions and services, thereby strengthening Lenovo’s position as a significant global tech hub in India, says MD of the company, Shailendra Katyal. The facility, which will serve Lenovo’s customers globally, includes a network operating centre (NOC) and security operation centre (SOC). The centre is designed to deliver remote infrastructure managed services (RIM). In the initial phase, the shared support centre will deliver a broad suite of remote infrastructure managed services on servers, operating systems, virtualisation, storage, network, data protection, database, middleware, security operations, public cloud operations and vendor management.
