Des juat know how to blame Ip every time he missed the ball but if you watch the replay, Des missed it too but no one says anything because he's supposed to be the best one on the team. Meanwhile, you wouldn't be afraid to play goalie as much if you're on Ben's team. I mean look at Lee, such an improvement after few days of goalie and words of affirmation from the team.

Leland played really well today. The way he was sweeping and coming out way earlier made a huge difference, jumping has got better, even got a nice solo goal. Team blue has improved a lot lately. Even mark's defense getting way better

Stuff like first touch, aerial hits, bicycle hits, and juggling no longer give you points. But I'm in the same boat as you since I can't remember if there was a toggle to change the point system

Des’ team is so fun to watch when they’re on offense but their defense is actually atrocious lmao, goalie always takes the blame for a score but it’s just as important for the team to make sure the goalie isn’t forced into defending against 3 other players. Dyl was completely silent and just going for shots and Des isn’t good enough to cover for the rest of the team like Ben is. Their total offense approach leads to funny and cool clips on goal but they can choke and lose their lead just as fast. It’s such a chaotic way of playing lol

Des’ team is just 3 players playing their own game and the only time they talk is when they’re yelling at each other over who is going to hit a ball or to go on defense after they’ve left their goal wide open. They play a very selfish ballgame and the weaknesses of that were horribly apparent here. Watching this on stream was brutal as someone who always roots for Des

One thing, Dylan NEEDS to start using ball cam. He sells a lot not using it, you can see it watching his POV, and he will not get better if he doesn't use it. And he needs to get better lol if you look at the stats, Mark has been performing better than him (numbers + average points per game). He would spend so much time away from the ball and helping Desmond to get boost, that it led to Ben team scoring. Des would be by himself fighting a 1v2 or a 1v3 at certain times. Ippi literally had to fight them off at one point from scoring, while Dylan collected boosts like dragon balls.

@34:35 is a perfect example of where Des is so focused on the mistake his teammate made that he himself misses the ball as well which leads to an easy game winner. he made an even worse mistake but is only talking about clearing the ball on the first bounce but not him also whiffing the next chance to clear it. if Des just plays better his team would easily win even with Ippi missing ez saves. also most the scores Ippi gives up are 2v1s bc Des and Dylan failed to get a good shot and are double committed. its bad rotations which is the most fundamental part of good RL play. then you have Ben on the other team that tells Le when to rotate forward or rotate to net. Ben also knows Mark is a horrible defender so he rotates on defense for himself and Mark. keeping mark safe in the role of chasing the ball like a crack head as much as possible which leads to Mark scoring goals off defensive mistakes and not giving up goals with bad saves. Des's team has the better players but worse team work. While Ben's team has the weaker players but a better system and rotations.

I’m not a rocket league expert, but I agreed with most people, Ippi getting blamed every time doesn’t make sense when most of the time he’s in a 1v2 situation. Des need to implement the switch system with Ippi the same way Ben constantly switch with Lee. He’s clearly the better defender on his team switching from time to time wouldn’t hurt them. Mark and Lee are not the best on offense, but Ben still trust them, he needs to have more faith in his teammates when it comes to offense.

I get you but ngl both Ippi and Lee constantly make the same mistake: they don't come out early enough or they don't come out at all. They're gonna get there with experience (Ben is already there), but that skill alone would've saved them so many goals conceded. Des' Team doesn't have a good rotation. They force Ippi to stay in goal rather than allowing him to clear and push the ball. Goalie is also an extremely difficult position to play if you're just going to be stagnant in goal you need to have very good mechanics which nobody has developed yet

Ay for my RDC brothers, Imma put you on game. I'm champ 1 consistently for like 10 seasons. Break the squad down as the 1, 2, and 3. Lee and Ippi are the 3's of the teams (defenders), Ben and Dyl are the 2's (midfield, playmakers) and Des and Mark are the 1's (strikers). I put ben as the 2 for his team due to his overall better rotations and playing both sides. For my 3's, (Ippi and Lee) for the most part y'all doing your jobs in goal and while on defense, but when your 1 and 2 is up field on offense, try your best to keep the ball in play for pressure by moving up to the defensive half of the field. Rather than staying in net, this will keep your team on offense longer. One more thing for my 3's, is when you need to make a jump for the save, try jumping, pointing your car up and boosting towards the ball. Mechanics will come eventually so I won't go further on that. For my 2's, Ben and Dyl, y'all really putting in work. I like Dyl's aggro playstyle, it suits you well. I really urge you to listen to Des about that ball cam but to each his own. As the 2's yall need to work with your 3's and 1's to facilitate the rotates. Ben does a great job at this. Benaldo type shi. But fr, when you are attacking upfield on the sideline try to drive the ball into the net for a cross. If the 1 is in position you guys can make ez shots that way. You and the 1 have the responsibility to make the offensive play but, also rotate out so your 3 is not stuck in a 2v1 counterattack. And when you rotate back, get in the net and have faith that your 3 pushes out for the save. If your 3 misses, you can cover for him now. For my 1's, Des and Mark, y'all goated fr. Des learning to fly is impressive. Mark you got really good offensive mindset and you line up angles really well, but please control your speed before attempting the shot, and meet the ball on the first bounce like Des be saying. Also Try flipping into your shots for more power. And again, after a missed shot or failed offensive attempt, get back on Defense to help out your 3. For all of RDC, I love y'all fr, you guys are a huge inspiration and I'm really enjoying watching you guys play one of my favorite games. This series needs to last forever for the rivalries to last. #TeamBlueWin

See how Ben is positively reinforcing Leland compared to Desmond doing the opposite to Ipi? Blue team definitely doesn’t win every time but they have a good system and solid foundation. mark plays terrible lol he's a ball chaser that only scores so many goals bc he barely spends any time on defense. it just works bc this is a very low level lobby where mistakes happen every 3 seconds. and the fact that its 3v3 so his lack of defense is easier for Ben to cover for.

This was a crazy comeback, Ben's team turning the tables was HILARIOUS to watch. Des and Dylan and Ippi had such flawless defense before and now they don't lol. Ippi letting Mark and Ben get in his head and make him mess up so much was tragic all in itself lol. But also Leland getting out of any accountability was too lol. The way Leland will be quiet as hell and not say anything kills me every time lol. Mark and Ben were doing the same thing to Leland each time he missed just like Dylan and Des so when Mark denied doing that made me bust out laughing. Cuz now BOTH teams always coming for their goalies when they mess up. I was really surprised but Mark truly is the BEST instigator, the way he got into Ippi's head, made that man mess up repeatedly, and THEN made Ippi argue with his own team at the END?! Truly a Gold Medalist lol.

The thing is they make Ippi spend so much time in goal that he’s not getting the hang of a lot of the mechanics the way Mark has the opportunities. They need to let Ippi attack more. Leland is good for it since he’s been playing for a bit so he can rotate well. Des also really can’t say too much if his and Dylan’s offense aren’t scoring much. That’s on the whole team by that point
