Because Mark and Leland hoed themselves and allowed Dylan to pass them getting 3rd (which is the lowest he will get in either situation). Dylan would have still won it giving the results of the 3rd race, Des would have to get 1st in the last race to over take Dylan and there's a very small chance that happens, unless they team up on Dylan to give Des 1st.

I think Ben does care. He could have actually won if he went in with a plan and focused on keeping Dylan in the back. Dylan is better in chaotic environments but Ben actually has the most skill with the Kart. Leland straight up doesn't care and his only strat is to just make it into the 1st place position. Dylan is now the best racer in RDC, he has an S-tier hold item skill, and knows how to use an item and the best time to use it to gain a clutch. His driving skills have increased tremendously and he has gotten used to driving with a motor cycle, giving him better control over his vehicle than the other rdc members. I don’t see a scenario where Dylan will loose a set if the other rdc members don’t get their own unique skill which makes them stand out like Dylan. Dylan drove and made plays with his items like he practiced a lot during the Mario kart break, he probably went through a training montage. I can’t say anything about the other members yet until I see more, however I can say that Desmond has improved a lot compared to before. All in all, this is Dylan’s new rating. I saw that too. Pretty sure Dyl used ghost item and Ben threw the red which locked on to Lee because Mark just got hit with the blue. As soon as Mark recovered, Ben threw another, followed by yet another. Both locked onto Mark, but he only got hit once.
